The "they're defending really well" or "they've put loads of men behind the ball" aren't legitimate excuses for not scoring. Plenty of teams are able to score freely at home when the visiting team sit back. It's a requirement of big sides to be able to break teams down when this happens. Football isn't all "running into space","transitions" and counter-attack. We need to be able to score when we have the lion-share of possession

Well, our focus really is to track back and defend, defend and defend. That's what happens when you place more emphasis on defending than scoring.
Winning a football game means outscoring your opponents
In this case it means managing to get the ball in the net at least once...😃😃
Man city can score 9 goals over 180 mins and we can't even manage 1
