I'd have him back the second he begins to wonder if he should have stayed.
We lost Hleb but gained Nasri, we haven't got a better version of Fabregas. He'd still be loved if he returned.
No problem cesc, thanks for repaying us by leading us to so many titles
Very kind words from Cesc´s press agent.
Love you Cesc, you'll always be in our hearts too.
Haha what have we really done to
Him over the last 8 years? He came in as a good looking young lad and now he's leaving as a uglier looking young lad!
What has wenger been upto?
"No problem cesc, thanks for repaying us by leading us to so many titles"
Some bitter comments here the guy has given us everything for 8 years. He could have handled the situation better but when the best club in the world and your hometown club come calling then it was always going to be hard for him to say no, especially when we as a club have shown no ambition or gave him a reason to stay.
Good luck Cesc, will take me a long time to get over you. The fact your best years are still ahead of you makes it harder to to accept than even when Henry left. We'll miss you

Does this include the ill timed backpass at the nou camp, and the woeful leadership he showed when we were ahead numerous times last season?
I would have agreed with you a couple of years ago but some of last years shambles has to rest on his shoulders. The buck should not bypass a captain that the team is built around straight to the manager.
"Does this include the ill timed backpass at the nou camp, and the woeful leadership he showed when we were ahead numerous times last season?"
What are you trying to say, that he purposely lost us those games?
absolutely not, however he was as much a part of the shambles last year as anyone else, so coming out with comments inferring that we have no ambition and its all our fault that he went yada yada is total bull. We had a decent team last year but one of the things we were sorely lacking was a captain who would act like a leader, so I'm not prepared to accept that version of events.

He didn't, i don't think he fully knows what he's talking about.

He said it there ^
Building a team around someone is plenty of reason to stay. If he wants to go fair enough, but as far as I can see he wasn't up to the task given to him.
Sorry, I thought you meant Cesc had said it

As much part of the shambles? He got injured against Stoke and we fell apart. By the time he came back into the team we had nothing to play for. Wenger played him against Barca when he was not fit. He also rushed him back in the league because we were so desperate for him, again he got injured. The only thing Cesc was at fault for last season was getting injured! If not for that we'd have a CC, a PL and possibly more but because we relied so heavily on him and are so useless without him that never happened.
On Barcelona's website it says:
"Wegner has a negative image here, but it’s not true, I can assure you," said Cesc. For Fabregas the French manager "is really special and a second father to me, because he’s given me everything in the world of football". He also said that if today he’s a Barça first team player "it’s also thanks to Wenger".
Eight years and he doesn't even know his own manager's name! 'Wegner'
I understand your opinion batmanu, but I disagree with it. In my opinion there were several crucial times last season he did a lot wrong, Newcastle being the prime example when we needed him to calm the team, but he was running around with his head down in panic mode. I really think we had a decent team last year that was lacking leadership at crucial moments.
Now I'm not saying he isn't a great player that will be sorely missed, but I have to take into account that much of the reason he was so great was because the team was built around him. Did he live up to the kind of honour it is to have a team built around you? Personally I think he fluffed it last season for the reasons stated in the first paragraph.
