I think we probably have enough, although we do need to watch our defensive cover considering Liam Moore's injury (we've lost a first choice centre back and second choice right back in one go).
Regarding up front, when (if) Chris Wood's fit then we'd have a choice from
Nugent
Vardy
Wood
Phillips
Taylor-Fletcher
Schlupp
That should be plenty, and I'm not convinced another big centre forward would be able to make that much impression - like you suggest, what we gained in height and muscle we'd lose in mobility and technique.
I think we're about there, although I wouldn't mind reliable cover for the RB slot. RDL seems to be a bit injury prone and cover is either provided by Wasyl (who doesn't look like a RB) or Moore (means breaking up the Morgan/Moore CB pairing, but currently injured anyway). Ideally we also might have short term cover at CB, although I don't know how close Miguel is to fitness.
In a way it’s a shame that Shaun SL isn’t fit. He wouldn’t be first choice at either CB or RB, but could provide short term cover for both.
Possibly the only addition would be a quality CB. I would love to see him add Hobbs, but to be honest if his wages are expensive would we really want to sign him for the sake of 6 months? If we get promoted I don't think he is a premier league CB
I thought you were asking 'is it big enough?' in regard to our lead at the top Nev. I was looking forward to sharing my fears that a defeat at Bournemouth followed by a defeat at home to Watford would leave us with a tricky trip to Forest and probably only a handful of points in hand over QPR and Burnley. I want/need reassurances this isnt going to happen!
If its players you are talking about then yeah we're alright
Only Defence is a tad light but we'll be ok as long as no one else gets injured before Moore returns.
CDUBYA - Dont worry about the ifs and buts too much.
CDUBYA:
Burnley, next three fixtures:
QPR (a)
Millwall (h)
Bolton (a)
QPR, next three fixtures:
Burnley (h)
Derby (a)
Reading (h)
Aside from Millwall at home, none of them are "easy" fixtures. I doubt either team will bag 9 points from those.
But Dung remember the "Ides of February" last year. But without tempting fate we look more robust later in matches.
Oh for a draw between Burnley & Range Park Queens
