What does this make of Mariner, the imbecile and his linesman?
Relief in that can u imagine the look on Verts face....
Jan...your back in the eleven ......at full back......
Jan.....
Not sure if that's good or bad news.
Rose will come good. Chill out.
It was still a penalty though, ask DJ.
And they've changed the score to 1-4?
I just dont get the criticism about Rose on this board.
I think hes a good player.

Love the optimism
Very fortunate to be in the starting 11.
So clearly a wrong decision by the ref, which effectively means refs do have a clear say in the results of football matches and not the players. 11 v 11 who knows how the game could have panned out.
Avb not easy as 1-2-3-Kaboul in a china shop

He`s an OK player, but a very poor defender. Spurs need to splash the cash in the summer window and buy a quality left back.
One that can cross a ball would be nice as well.
Can't think of to many left backs in recent years at Spurs that could deliver.
Ziege?
Benny was hit and miss.
Rose is okay, but is not the answer for us at full back. He is too rash in challenges & thinks he is better than he really is
I say let the second half be replayed and let us lose 3-0 instead of 5-1.

You'd likely still have lost. Chelsea are (I think) One of the only 'top' teams to have got a win against City, and those was only because of Hart's howler.
The linesman cost us a goal for, a goal against, and a player for most of the 2nd half. I hope he is punished accordingly but I doubt he will be. What gets right up my rathole is the casual way in which all sports bulletins and SSN say Citys 5-1 win at Spurs without mentioning any of the mitigating circumstances.
The game should be replayed!!
Even though they should of been home and hosed in the first half hour, I felf we had a chance second half. The penalty and sending off was the deciding factor, 2-0 down, down to ten. Not happening.

The score should be adjusted to 4-1 (we at least score and don't have negative GD) .

He missed Adebayour's stamp on Demechelis, the quintuple handball in the Spurs penalty area and Rose's dive that lead to a free kick.
Bad referee all round.
He weren't gonna give anything to City after that decision. Penalty was the pivotal moment of the match.
penalty clear as day, he caught his knee before the ball
brown bags

Common sense, it was never a free kick as Rose clearly won the ball.
But once again Spurs suffer at the hands of incompetent referees, these game changing decisions directly impact the outcome of the final league placings.
Some clubs get the opposite treatment, City for example have had crucial decisions going in their favour in 2 tough away games recently and Liverpool have been given 3 penalties for dives and escaped conceding at least one blatant penalty in their last 4 games alone.
And some people claim that these things even themselves out.

Like the penalty you should have conceded at United?
