Chronic

Tim said there in squad mate plus verts and Kaboul

I'd wouldn't like to start 3 players back from injury ( verts Sandro paulinho )

So would bench Sandro and bring on for 30 mins or so

I reckon Paulinho will start. Does anyone know if Dembele is in the squad?

I agree chronic and what a hell is wrong with lamela? how long can a fatigued thigh or funny elbow take to heal? There are people with broken toes and legs who recover faster.

Sherwood got on my nerves with his city on another planet comment. Does he think Spurs are in the 3rd division?

no idea.

its laughable really. i just find it more and more amusing all season.

we could sign king kong and he would be out for 6 months with a broken nail.

the danny rose one took the pissss this season. sprained toe or something and he was out for 4 months

ah well.

we are a total shambles but still only 3 points off 4th place.

it just really shows what an overrated pile of crap the premier league is really.

Hengy i bet i'll bet a third division club will do better than what we did against them.

I'm confident, we tend to come back from batterings well.

I'm not worried about the striker situation. Arsenal have got by with one (barely) competent striker all season.

Eriksen and Lamela are more than capable of playing the number 10 role off of either ade or Soldado.

What I don't get is why we have one facking left back in the squad, whilst our best facking left back is at qp favking r

Solda ade

Bentalab dropped? Dembele? I'd probably drop Azza and play lamela if fit. Use the FB for width and actually try and be creative in final third whilst getting bodies into the box too. Anyone else lose a bit of their soul since the whole Bale sale/ Influx of loads of talented players but not gelling yet/ sacking of AVB etc? I miss ledders, at least with him on the teamsheet I felt hopeful. Now defensively we have triers and athletes but not alot of brains between em. Sigh.

Everywhere

Yeah but Arsenal generally score from all over the pitch anyway and have always trumped us for goals scored for as long as I can remember.

we can still get 4th but probably won't.

i cling to the fact that we are a shambles and have been no good all season - if we win tomorrow we go going 4th on points with superstars liverpool.

and its feb! and we have key players to come back, and we have played man city twice, and man u twice.

i mean i don't know how, as we are not really very good, but we are bang in this race for fourth

LLM said Sherwood has played false 9 in the past. He might need to this season.

THE ACE,

We can only mention what LLM said as fact. Anything he got wrong don't count .

Also, I like the way Chronic is arguing it was such a bad decision to play Bentaleb - then he puts ..Bentaleb in his team .

Good old Chronic..as consistent as ever

erm chicken. this is the team i think it would be. not that i would play. i wouldn't play 4-4-2 virtually ever.

plus dembele is injured and none of the other midfielders quite fit.

well done on missing the point again. you are quite the expert at that

To be honest the transfer windows are always a waste of space but hyped uo to high heaven by the media.

Sooner or later people are going to realise that buying left right and centre is not the answer.

Think just how many bad signings we have made in January transfer windows. I can think of two instantly with Palacious and Hutton. How about Holby? Another jan signing a hand ful of games and he is gone.

Until we get a decent coach or manager this will continue. What makes a decent coach? The accepted definition of a good or great coach is one who gets the best out of a player.

Have we had one of those since Burkinshaw? Not that I can remember.

We have lots of great players and some pretty good ones forming our squad yet we are so crap at times its untrue.

Does anybody think SAF would have lost 6-0 at city with our squad? I know I dont. Nor would Jose for that matter.

Having a lot of racing parts for an engine is no good without a mechanic to put it together and having a lot of great/good players is no good whatsoever without a manager/coach to form them into a team.

Wes Brown has league winners medals but is he anything special? Smalling has one as well.

If we just blindly keep signing players like we have for the last 10 years then all we will see is exactly what we have seen so far which is plenty of promise and no end result.

I seriously believe that if Spurs and woolwich had totally swapped squads at the beginning of the season then both clubs would still be in the positions they are now.

I might not like whinger but at least he knows what the hell he is doing rather than stumbling from one disaster to another
