One of the finest young players in world football Christ a couple of good games and he's the new messi.

He didn't say he's the new Messi, you did. He said he's one of the finest young players in football, how many better 19 year olds can you name?

So it's got to be 19 then.

Ross Barkley

I have to say I agree with the vast majority of that.

He's severely under performing in his role and most other Elite clubs, as the article so eloquently puts it, would have pulled the plug now.

We go 16pts behind City tonight should they win at home with 14 games still to go. By May that gap will most likely be well over 20pts.

He should go. He's not the manager for us.

Sorry I just re-read this and thought that perhaps my initial response was a bit out of order. I should have said:

Another superb article and you see that almost immediately in the comments section we have another one of the dogmatic, "he will get it right brigade" but with no evidence to support their positions.

Look, Utd is a step too far for this man and it is best we start looking at other options.

People keep saying Utd will strengthen and will be challenging again but are forgetting that Mourinho, Pellegrini, Wenger and Rodgers are still here and will likely spend more money.

They are already tactically superior to him as are most of the league (Poyet, Clarke, Martinez, Hughes, etc).

Sir Alex’s mantra was always to look to buy players that are better than the ones he had

The improving quality of our football on a game by game basis. Tactical moves like getting Rooney to sign a £300k p/w contract. Key signings, particularly Fellaini and Mata. The recommendation of SAF. We're United.
