Yes. It wasn't about titles or even money. He wanted to go home. Im sure our lack of trophies didn't help, but they are not the reason he left.
Probably. There'd be no challenge left for him at Arsenal, and the club would thank him for his years of service by wishing him well and letting him go to his home club.
So would we, probably.
I am a Barça fan - in fact I live in the town next to where Cesc was born and raised. I know his family quite well. The only reason Cesc would leave Arsenal and especially Wenger is for Barcelona. He truly loves Arsenal but Barcelona is the club he has supported all his life. Trophies may play a part but it's more about playing for your dream club. We all know how lucky pro footballers are but those who play for the teams they support are the luckiest.
Thankyou for making us all feel worse xiuxiuejar
xiuxiuejar, wow your 1 of the first people to get it and post it, we will always be Fabregas 2nd love (Arsenal) not his first and his gone now so we as Arsenal supporters will move on because our first love is Arsenal.

Yes he would still have left us, even were we winning titles left right and centre.
In fact, were that the case, he might well have left us sooner.
If we were Kings of the Universe and Real were the dominant force in Spanish football at the moment, Cesc would still be a Barcelona player today.
The guy plays for love before money.
You can just tell.
