I think the Khan fight is more less sealed but to appease the critics for this choice he has added Maidana as a backup.

I dont think its signed and sealed at all Kash
Stil think Maidana could get it.
There was talks of a Maidana Broner rematch being confirmed but that all went quiet and now it looks like Maidana's in the frame again. Clearly Floyd has seen the reaction to the Khan fight is negative enough for him to delay the decision until he's absolutely sure
Khan also was quoted few weeks saying Floyd should sign the contract and decide if he wants to fight me or my leftovers (Maidana) so Khan obviously getting nervous too

Maidana deserves it more but Floyd would box his earholes off. Khan dosen't deserve it but stylistically it's a better more entertaining fight but has the potential to end quickly. Khan would get my vote.

Paq should earn the fight. If he beats Bradley and JMM, he should try out against canelo. If he comes through that easy test then he has earned the fight. But as the challenger he should accept 20% of the purse.

I think it should be khan. Maidana lost to him so out of the 2 he deserves it more. But I'd like to see Thurman get his shot.

So Floyd is lying again, the boxing fans can't choose his next opponent.

How about the WBC decided, oh no that would make it Pacquiao again.

Will Floyd ever step up?

He is the Deontay Wilder of the welterweight division.

And have Khan and Maidana beat Bradley and Marquez?

Nope. But Bradley beat paq and so did jmm.

Has Khan and Maidana avenged their defeats?

Irrelevant.

So why is relevant for Pacquiao to avenge his defeats?

Because he has to earn the huge money he will get. Beating a walking punch bag like Rios shouldn't qualify you for the biggest payday of your career.

He has to first avenge the losses then take an easy fight against canelo to earn it.

Manny has done more then enough throughout his career to deserve a shot at FMJ. Kahn in no way deserves this fight although his hand speed could make it an interesting fight for a while but FMJ beats Kahn everytime, Maidana has done more to deserve the fight but FMJ out points him all day.

But Manny FMJ had to have happened 5 years ago, it's simply not the fight it would have been now IMO, I'm gettign very bored of FMJ, just wish he'd actually fight more and talk less. For the supposed pound for pound number 1 he doesn't fight often enough and makes it sound like he is doing everyone a favour by fighting them, yes they make big money but it's a sport and if he's the best in the world he shoudl prove it more often

Just to clarify I don't sit in either camp I just wan't to see more top quality fighters fight each other.

Manny has lost 2 of his last 3 fights.

Big Bro has muscled in and told Broner to forget about Maidana for now.

Why are Khan and Maidana exempt from avenging their defeats and then beating Canelo?

Regardless, as paq is fighting Bradley, he can't be Floyd's next opponent.
