so why you wumming on this thread then?

Bit rich complaining about people showing no respect - the original article is a long confused and overly sentimental ramble. If you didn't know it was the anniversary date you'd have no idea it was a tribute re the air crash.

Also less of the Stockport abuse - its a bloody sight closer to Manchester than most of the posters on here will ever be,

i think the title is a clue and the last line

Lest we forget. #FlowersOfManchester

is also

It is someones tribute to MUFC on the anniversarry of the crash. You might not like it you might thik it might be a bit OTT but nether the less... thats what it is....

and you STILL want to pi55 on it.

wtf is wrong with you?

Nothing wrong with me - just pointing out its very easy to read it as something completely different. Which people have done - then they get accused of disrespecting the dead. Which they weren't.

I've got to admit that I did not make the connection as I did not know it was the anniversay. Again - apologies. I don't have a television and did not buy a paper yesterday.

Look like most I did not interpret this thread as an honour to Munich. I apologise for that. I did not know it's the anniversary...you have to understand we all do not remember the dates...do you remember The Bradford fire stadium date?. The thread came across as the history of Man U and to many that's all it was. Do not have a go at fans who assumed this. Yes I wummed because I assumed the thread was a history of Man U not a tribute to Munich....

How is this a Munich thread? I got about three lines in, skimmed to the bottom, and decided it was more a deluded rant about some sort of self entitlement.

Think you'll find all the other actual Munich threads have been perfectly respected, as they should be.

The thread starts with
'For everyone laughing at Manchester
United, allow me to tell you a story'

To me that reads to the rival fans who are mocking our demise check out what we have won in the past.....

Now if its started with a reverance to Munich I would have posted something respectful....but to me that is an attempt to show that even though Man U are not doing well this year we have been the best......blah blah blah....

The post did refer to Munich but if I did a list of Man U history obviously that would be mentioned.....you do not mention Liverpool history without Heysel Stadium or Hillsborough or even Bradford without mentioning the fire.

History of some clubs do have sad and unforgettable incidences.....I have utmost sincerity for what happened in Munich....not as much as Heysel or Hillsborough or Bradford but that was because they were in my lifetime so I have memories of those events. It does not mean I do not think of what happened in Munich....

But please do not have a go at a rival fan because the post mentioned Munich briefly ....No one WUM the Munich part but the rest....

Arsenal have no history so your point are invalid as even Chelsea have more history than you lot

it clearly doesnt

Sorry if you've been offended RBW but I don't think the thread comes across as being solely a Munich respect thread, or really a Munich respect thread at all, and I think that's why many reds were actually happy to have the crack too with us up until you raised the point. Crossed wires perhaps.
