"Anyone think broner will be in the top 5 in 5 years I do, depending on what weight he decides to go to"
===
no chance, it doesn't matter what weight he fights at, he'll be forgotten within a couple of years.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not if he goes down to lightweight
Needs to stop blowing up inbetween fights, be dedicated to the sport, get a new trainer, improve his footwork, throw more punches and move to 140lbs till he grows into a welter naturally.
In short,
No

Once you go up, it so much harder to get back down, and you will lose something.
Broner will never fight at lightweight again.

I don't like how he keeps dropping his hands, especially his left hand. A southpaw with a good right hook could take advantage of that.
But tbf he'd probably fight differently against a southpaw or a higher calibre of opposition.
He looks good though, good footwork and nice pop on his jab
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Been tipping him to become a world champion since he was 17.
He is massive for a welterweight, could still make 140lbs.
Stopped.
Yeah he looks good based on that fight alone D4, not your typical Mexican style fighter. Impressed with his footwork and jab.
Just checking out his detail, he's still only 21!!
If he stays at 147, his height and reach alone should make him hard to beat.
Is he with TR?
120-5 amateur record. Nice.
Pretty sure he is with Top Rank, turned pro at 17, used to train at the wild card and sparred with Pacquiao
Good stuff. Any idea when he's planning on fighting for a title?
No, they seem to be progressing him add slowly, it will be at least another year till he will even look for a world title shot.
I'm still hopefull gary Russell jnr will fight someone half decent and in 5 years he could be easy top5
Russell Jr is gonna get smashed up by Loma if they fight

Broner is good. Just not elite level. He'll be knocking on the door asking some fool to brush his balding pate.

Kamran I've just looked back at the p4p lists from July and you have
Ward
Floyd
Martinez
Manny
Rigondeax
Just wondering how Floyd has moved so much after beating canelo and manny has moved so much by beating rios
diamond, I've learnt a lot since then, my knowledge wasn't as good back then as it is now.
