No point anymore. Keep him till summer and then sack him in may.
We play Arsenal and Palace both away before we play the greeks also. We might want to focus on not losing another 6 league pts not that it matters much anymore.
If your basing a Managerial position based on their achievement in the Champions League then even Sir Alex's job would have been at risk.
It's a miracle we are where we are in that competition in hindsight.
Are we just going to say this every game until he is inevitably sacked?
I think we all know they won't sack him mid season. They may in summer but not now.
I say yes because I believe that is our last (very, very small) hope of CL footy.

I can't see them sacking him until the end of next season. I'll be surprised if they sacked him after 12 months in the job.
Tbh this is the end of the road for modern day United. too many average players. United have a tactical dinosaur in charge. Owners who have saddled the club with debt that will be the clubs downfall. An egotistical board who would rather see the club plummet into mid-table or worse because Utd are not a so called "sacking club". The United we have all come to know is no more.
NO.
TBF to Moysie even if he had United buzzing by now we probably wouldnt win the CL so I wont judge him on that.
I also wont judge him if he doesnt win the PL. Didnt expect that with the regime change.
Top 4 was a given though. Fail to get that and its goodbye.
However.
Look at the fixture list coming up for the next couple of months
Dont expect much from that.
which means that we could get sucked into the bottom half of the league. Where 2 points usually separate 8 teams.
Then we are in unchartered waters.
There is even a growing arguement to prevent this and get a stop gap in who can steady the ship. Because i dont think Moyes Nev and that other bloke can

Going from 1st to 7th is a distinct possibility now and I'm pretty sure that wasn't in the remit back in May.
There's a good chance he'll be sacked in May. But I don't see the point doing it now.
he will be given another season 100%.
so no point even discussing it.

Welcome to the way football teams are run nowadays
Dark I disagree. Lack of CL football is disastrous, based on the Glazer financial plan. Moyes is embarrassing himself and the club. I think he's in trouble

Merry you are actually wrong. based on the Glazers business plan, they can afford to be out of the CL for a few seasons. Liverpool earned more commercial revenue than Arsenal last season, how long have they been out of the CL? The Glazers are not really concerned with us winning things. They will leave the club with a huge debt and suck it dry. but for the next few years to a decade they have a club that will be producing enough profit to suck it dry.

For a fan, this is going to be tough to take. United will decline and probably not return to the pinnacle of British football for at least a decade or 2.
You might go on to win the CL. Stranger things have happened.

yep. Liverpool even won it once
A top team will beat us by 5 or 6 over two legs. I'm not even convinced we'll get past the greeks.
What happens if a miracle happens and we won the CL? Its highly unlikely, but not impossible. Would people on here want him to stay? Would sacking him be unfair?
I don't want him sacked, I want him to be given another season, to be absolutely fair to him. Obviously on here, I'm in a minority.
I don't want him to get more time. The repitition of mustakes is unforgivable, particularly with no effort to change things
win the CL <LAUGH> United would do well to beat the Greeks.
I want him to be given another season, to be absolutely fair to him.

so do I.
But what I have seen of him in year 1 I dont believe he will improveUnited much.
So is it about Moyes or United?

There is no way this team will beat city, Munich, real or barca over 2 legs...
Maybe as a one off but never over 2 legs.

There were some that wanted him out early on, on the basis that they never wanted him in the first place. But there are - or were - plenty that were willing to give him time. I'm one of the latter. But you're right, how long do you give someone before changing.
I think its difficult for most United fans because changing managers is not something that is normal for us.
