The did have the better of the opening period
where they had a shot saved from outside the box.
The middle period we has some possession but they had some towards the end. Oher than the shot and one timely interception from lloris they did'nt have much chances. The second they had none. They probably deserved a draw but saying they dominated is a bit much....we were poo yesterday thou.
exactly NAC, it was all pretty football from Everton from left to right but they didn't exactly bombard our goal did they?
Everton totally dominated the first 10 minutes, where Osman had four chances.
After that it was pretty even though Spurs were better second half and Everton pushed us the last 10 minutes.
To say Everton dominated the match is totally incorrect, though they did not deserve to lose.
Don't understand why they didn't bring Traore on, the in the second half. They really are going to struggle without Lukaku!

I agree, on the other hand we might get games against one of Juventus, Napoli or Porto.
I'm certainly look forward to playing them if we beat Dnipro.
If we don't get Europa League we will lose out on over 10 million, basically a new player

I think if Spurs beat Dnipro, they will probably be playing Benfica in the next round.
Not sure why some of our supporters are poo pooing the Europa League, a few years back our supporters were creaming themselves over the prospect of any Europan Football. Now apparently Spurs are too good for the Europa League, it`s called arrogance.

Every season we have been in the Europa League we have struggled in the premiership.
Not true at all, Spurs got a record 72 points last season, despite being in the Europa League. FFS how do you think Spurs would sustain any sort of CL campaign if they cannot cope with a few extra games in a competition where a 25 man squad is utilised.
Newcastle injury list boys..
Squad (injury update from physio room- return date
C Tiote 3 wks
Y Gouffran 4 days
G Obertan 4 days
P Cisse 4 days
G Bigirimana 2 wks
F Coloccini 3 wks
R Taylor TBC
No update on Debuchy yet....
Remy is, once again suspended.
No Cabaye anymore...
Surely we will beat this lot?

That is the sum of it.
Have we built the squad capable of dealing with UEFA distractions at the business end of the PL season, or not.
The main gripes with the UEFA is the travel all over "Europe" , as well as the additional two games when compared like for like to the CL.
Good point Don (no where near angry enough for my liking)
I think of you took a simplistic view, yesterday showed we are about the same level as Everton, with Liverpool slightly above: as the league depicts ...but not as far ahead as their drubbing of both us and Everton would suggest.
Whilst i agree that Everton probably had the clearer cut attacks than us, it does make me laugh that one of the debates that always crops up is when we fluked a 3-2 win against United, and AVB was upheld (and still is by some) as some kind of tactical genuis, simply because of the scoreline - yet under Sherwood, we get the scoreline and some posters look for faults and say we didnt deserve it.
I wont go into the faults of yesterday as i have already done this on other articles, but the inconsistencies on here are simply unbelievable at times.
For the record, i think its right that we analyse the performance and also the scoreline (because they are not always the same) but i just wish we had consistent views across all subjects - that is all.
