I understand the filter has a use. I have filtered people in the past but always remove it after a few days as I don't want to put my fingers in my ears and pretend certain people don't exist.

if VC wanted to filter me then fine. But EVERY single day he's there slating me. Getting boring now.

I would think, your only option is to filter him. Or, just send the boys round...

For me it means hiding. I've filtered people myself but mainly after a bit of a strop. I realise my mistake later on and cancel the filtering.

But if I was to long term filter someone i wouldn't keep slating them. What's the point? it then becomes an obsession.

It's interfering with my enjoyment of this site and while a big part of me feels that your response is going to be 'ah well, go join another site if you don't like the way we do things', i'd hope you could find a better way of sorting this.
