Krul doubtful???? Why is that?
Him missing the game would be the best of the lot. Still have nightmares about that game at WHL.
Spur, he was carrying a small injury through the Chelsea game and pardew said he felt uncomfortable. He might still play but might not be risked. Remy is the biggest miss for me
I expect nothing less than a win tomorrow especially with how many key players are missing for Newcaslte
I hate statements like this.
Last time we played a team with that many injuries they had no strikers and still beat us 3-0
It's payback time after what happened at WHL.
Surely Krul cannot have another game of his life and maybe we might have some of our players that will use some of our chances and actually aim the ball on target somewhere other than right at him
Sorry luka but we really should be beating a Newcastle team with so many of their most important players missing.
we should be beating a lot of teams but we aint, a draw for me is about par

To be fair most keepers that come to the lane end up having a worldy before returning to dog poo after.
spurs will lose this.
we are s till soft.
cold night in the north east. de jong to score his first goal for new club. v spurs. standard
Yep, all I have to say is Boaz Myhill.... Any normal spurs fan will know exactly what I'm taking about
Happy that Remy and Cabaye aren't playing
It will be a hostile atmosphere so let's see how our new players cope with that. We play a lot better away from home, so I am quite confident and we do "owe" one for last time.
A win would be massive after the great Everton result with Norwich up next
spurs 0 - 0 hull , don?
keane missed a tap in from a yard

Tbh the only reason the keepers have a 'worldy' is cos our strikers have a shocker.
Despite Krul having a very good game earlier this season, I could only think of one properly good save he had made. The rest were relatively routine, poor finishing ultimately.
yeah we kept banging the ball straight at him ffs
Yes chronic, 0-0 Hull at the lane and Boaz Myhill turned into Buffon for the day
Edin, maybe but Boaz Myhill performance was unreal although as chronic said Keane did miss an open goal
You should beat them, I thought they were distinctly average at the Bridge on Saturday. If they were closer to the relegation places I'd be worried for them.
Cabaye is a big blow for them, they don't have anyone close to replacing him and I know De Jong has only been there for three or four games but he looked pretty one dimensional too.
Couldn't pick a better time to play Newcastle. Pardew pretty much admitted they aren't very good without Cabaye and Remy in his post-match interview the other day.
I think and expect we will win
De Jong is awful. Has been terrible for Gladbach as well, he'll still score against us though

They've also been pretty poor at home last few games while we seem to be much better away
If ever there was a defeatist attitude from their manager Alan Pardew then this is it, pre match comments
" after spurs we can crack on with some winnable games"
sounds like he's already writing off the game as a Newcastle loss, jesus
Don
Where did you get that quote from?
Thats a ridiculous statement from a manager!
