I am loving the media writing us off as it gives us pressure free football which always equals good things.

Chelsea were outstanding against Newcastle where as we were against a rubbish team!

Thank you for pointing out my minor error, but it does not in anyway affect the table, and in fact Liverpool do actually still stay 5th in the form table. I think you were clutching at straws a bit there to think the table would change in Liverpool`s favour.

I agree. I think if Spurs now can get a settled back four, with Kaboul partnering Verts, I really think the team can continue the good run until the end of the season. I was thinking we would never see Kaboul again, so was pleasantly surprised when I saw his name on the team-sheet. Left back is still a problem, but with a decent central defensive partnership now, may be able to cover up for that.

You have Everton 14 points difference in the table having gained only 11points in the matches.

How does that work exactly Sandy?

Right well let's put this straight shall we. First of all this article is fundamentally flawed. This is because your taking into account a "form table" of a certain period of fixtures to emphasise your points gain. I could do a similar thing for the start of the season and show how in a certain period Spurs were utter shít, see how it works? Fact is we picked up 17points from 9 games at almost 2 points a game which is exactly what is required and we have been consistently doing this all season. It is more than likely to be 20 after we play Swansea at home next week. You still have Europa to contend with and I still believe you will fall off with your March fixture list..Sherwood has got you winning games but the norm is usually that for a new manager coming in when the time is more likely to perform.

How is the article fundamentally flawed. Try reading the article properly, it actually says on the eve of the first premiership game under the new manager, and is in fact a form table under Tim Sherwood. Nothing flawed about it at all. It is totally fact not fiction like the media are having us hear.

I may have missed one match off the Everton score, I will double check that later, again it will not make any difference to the actual table.

You question my statement and then ignore why I say it's fundamentally flawed

Yes I understand it's a form table and that is why it is flawed including your incorrect maths. You were poor at the beginning of the season and have only recently begun to show some consistency. The media is writing you off but that is because you have bottled it in the past. Also a team is much more likely to perform under a new manager for a short period of time. Will he be able to manage the same thing next season? Ask yourself that

Wrong again, Spurs equalled or had their best ever prem start apparently. Why would not Sherwood be able to do it again next season? He has the players, so don`t see a problem. In fact with all the new players having had a season to bed in, I would expect Spurs to be an even bigger threat next season than this. Spurs have been 4th/5th for the past half a dozen seasons, so It is not as if they have suddenly just jumped into the top echeolons of the prem.

Apologies I should have worded that correctly: a team is more likely to perform under a half competent new manager when he comes in for a short period of time
