Would it ever be in doubt?
A day out by the Trent with top quality pubs and restaurants or a day out in a soulless flatpack Legoland with the nearest pubs twenty minutes walk away?...

Florist, only so they know they've got at least one game they can all win!

Dead thread
I think a lot of people like Nottm Forest. Most fans will have grown up seeing you as one of the top teams in England and will have been saddened by your decline.
It's a nice place to visit to watch the football, and both occasions I've been to the City Ground I've made it an overnighter and taken full advantage of your cities' hospitable ladies
Now we've had our bi-seasonal arsekickings from you I will be crossing my fingers that you get promoted. It would be great to see you back at the top table.
Good luck
There you go indeed....
The current Prem crop of voters would like Notts Forest to be promoted, as they obviously see that as the most likely 6 points for next season.
Thanks for clarifying.
More like Forest are the only ones who haven't been in the top flight since the last Millennium
I know Champers, only European champs to play League one
Sad decline no doubt.
You got the ride there no problem champers, half a lager and a packet of pork scrathing's, hotel or my place love.
taken full advantage of your cities' hospitable ladies
.......................
Derby lasses are just as easy Igor
Just the half a lager then
1 in 10 want Derby up. whereas nearly 5 in 10 want Forest up. Whatever happened to the British public's liking for an underdog to come out on top?
Any fan with any serious knowledge of English/ European football heritage anywhere in the world would vote the same way!
Not sure the same can be said for Leicester and Burnley though- mention Derby abroad and all you'll get is a blank look followed by the question 'Kentucky?'
Whatever happened to the British public's liking for an underdog to come out on top?

Its reflected in the votes Woody.
Isn't this vote a bit like the opposite of turkeys voting for Christmas. They might as well have asked "Which team do you want to get promoted so that you can laugh at their idiot manager and take 4 or 6 points off".
Its like any team managed by Ian Holloway - he's good value for the cameras and can be relied on to entertain. Unlike his teams which are generally crap. I can see Billy and Forest being in the same boat.

For 'abroad' read Western European over 40's. Kinda narrows the rest of the world down a bit.
If they were making their choice based on which team would provide them with the most points then surely they would have chosen derby?
11 points wasn't it? Does that mean more than half the teams did the double over you? They would be tripping over themselves to give you another two spankings each! Clearly it's based on sentimentality and everyone loves Forest!

Of course it's based on sentimentatlity!
The demographic of the likely subscriber to that website is likely to contain a very low percentage of people who have seen Forest in the top flight and so curiosity value if nothing else would see them vote for you. It's also the kind of thing that Vital Forest and suchlike get hold of and urge their fans to join and vote, such is their fervour for things that don't really matter at all.
As for the whole 'underdog' guess from Woody; perhaps they consulted the table and saw that Forest are indeed the worst-placed of the East Midlands sides and therefore the least likely to attain promotion, as plucky as their attempt to get into the play offs has been.
RAE,
I was going to make the same point. I'm not sure Derby fans can legitimately suggest that fans of current Prem teams would be icking their lips at the prospect of any easy 6 points against Forest, when the calmaitous 11 point season is still fresh in the memory. Of course they may not have long enough memories to recall how easy it was to take points from Forest!
icking their lips?? I mean licking obviously
Yes because obviously teams never changed and are exactly the same all the time.
Plank!!!!
"They might as well have asked "Which team do you want to get promoted so that you can laugh at their idiot manager and take 4 or 6 points off".
Peeder, you're not making sense, as logically speaking and going on previous form (worst team in PL history) surely, deby county should be more popular but no, we are just liked more.
Better FC, better history, better City and better women.
Just get over it.
Logic not your strong point, I see.
@ reds, look at Cannigia's post, now look at yours, hang your head in shame and ask him nicely if he can teach you how to post a comment that both rips the opposition but can also make them chuckle. (it did me anyway ha ha.)
Ha, beat me to it, RAE. Posting on my bleedin' phone takes an age.
Sad, bitter, deby folk.
