the way spurs should be treating the EL is like the domestic cups.

you play a weaker side in the early rounds - if your team then gets you to the latter stages (quarter finals onwards) thats when you go full strength

you just named a team full of injured players... with "some kids" on the bench and half the squad at home and you don't get why I'm unimpressed

Chronic you're about the most short-sighted individual I've ever chatted with in person or online... I almost feel sorry for you

You are totally incapable of seeing the bigger... It's shocking really... won't even bother waist my time with you..

------

good. well i am sure you know where the door is you mug.

"team full of injured players " - no not really. there were 2 or 3 max, most of who are either back or not far away from fitness.

kids on the bench = not playing

you can only bring on 3 subs in a game of football buddy. most people know that

its also laughable how how say i am incapable of seeing the bigger picture, when the whole basis of my argument is looking at the bigger picture

anyway even if the full squad travels to ukraine, we should still have enough to beat norwich - but no prem game should be taken for granted like how spurs fans did for west ham home.

yeah players, the attitude of the players perfectly reflected the attitude of the fans in the build up.

Yes I can see just how good you are at seeing the bigger picture.

Lets take a weak side to the Europa and save the rest for a game at Norwich so that we might qualify for the CL. Then if we do lets not whine and moan about travelling midweek cos its only hard work if its the europa its not hard work if its CL

How ridiculous does that sound?

The worst thing is that even if we win at Norwich we probably still wont qualify for the CL but at least we will have had the pleasure of fielding a weakened side in a competitive match.

Nope, it's the introduction of technology and sports scientists. The evidence is clear regarding certain players and fatigue and the mistakes that can lead to.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oh right and whinger who virtually bought sports science to this country has won what in the last 8 years?

You dont need science to produce a bit more when you need it, its called "heart" and a bit of "bollox" and if our overpaid prima donnas dont have any of that then we should get some players in that have

here it is again. That old chestnut. The champions league argument. I already put that argument to bed mate and you still come back with it

Lets try qualifying for the CL first aye? Might be an idea.

We should put out the sides that has the maximum chance of at least drawing on Thursday and winning Sunday with Sunday being the priority. Thursday is a two legged game if we don't win on Sunday then the points are gone for ever

We're more than capable of sending a weakened side and getting a result

Anyfootballer whether professional or not being unable to play at least two games of 90 minutes football a week, aged 20 to 30 should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. Fecccckkk the science bollox, another load of craap like health and feccccking safety.

Get on the fecccking pitch you lazy bastarddds and stop skiving, its what you get paid for.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why else would you want to field a weakened side in the europa if its not to get points at Norwich for a CL spot?

Hardly and old chestnut is it there is no other reason whatsoever that you would want to field a weakened side otherwise

posted on 17/2/14

Completely irrelevant. A football player could play 2 games a day for a month. They're physically capable, it is the quality that goes down. When you're bit at 100%, mistakes happen and mistakes cost points.
It's not really hard to grasp.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Thats ok then going by your theory the fact that we got knocked out of the domestic cups early will offset our europa games
