We are not winning this game. If we cannot beat Fulham at home, I don't see us getting what we need from this game.

I like what's happening at Palace, the eagle before kick-off, glad all over and the Ultras, it looks like a laugh supporting them.

I'm glad for Chamakh, he looked like a league 2 player before Pulis came in now he's got his mojo back.

I'm also happy for Pulis, his team don't play route one like Stoke and he looks to be guiding them to safety.

About two months into the season people were talking about Palace going down with a record number of points, he's done really well.

As for the game, i think we'll win, but it won't be pretty.

Pulis is doing a cracking job for you lot (Why did Stoke ever let him go?).

It will be a tough, tough 3 points if we are to bag them. Obviously every dropped point is another stick to bash Moyes with (with justification, alot of the time) so yea, it would crank the volume up even higher.

Cheers lads.
It's not the 'hoofball' that we all expected tbh. Yeah we sit back and counter but that is 'our strength' at this level I guess.
Since TP took over the place is buzzing. The HF (Holmesdale Fanatics aka Ultras) have been fantastic and are the ones behind Saturdays 'exhibition' and fair play to them.
We're minnows in this league and the start under Holloway (no offence Ollie but 4pts from 11 games!!!!!!) has made things tougher but who knows, maybe we'll be here next season

It'll be a good game I reckon

If we are to win this game we gonna have to fight really hard for it hopefully the players will have the stomach for the fight.

No offense to Palace whatsoever, but on paper their squad is just rubbish compared to ours. Literally every position the calibre of players is miles apart.

Having said that, I fully expect a tough game and we'll be lucky to get out with all three points.

I think 'miles apart' is kinda stretching it but I get your point bud.
Joel ward, our right back would easily fit into your current team as would Jedinak, holding midfielder. So no, not 'miles apart' as the current form shows.

It's about individuals playing as 'a team'. You should know that by now after 20+ yrs of SAF. That's his mantra, no?

The likelihood is that... like me, most of the UTD fans have only seen the match of the day highlights and maybe a few full games of Palace against the big clubs.

I'm sure you have players that would easily make our squad, if not the 11st eleven.

TUX, I'm not trying to knock on Palace here, and I stated in my last sentence that we'd be very lucky to come away with 3 points. That's because our team is playing like a pub team that assembled the week before so clearly I know about playing like a team.

But really? Rooney, RVP, and Mata are some of the top players around, and I don't think Chamakh or Puncheon quite compare. And Jedinak would make it into our current midfield but not so sure Ward offers more than Rafael

Stoke got rid of Pulis as they felt a new manager would help the team progress further, not worked so far has it?

Only Jedinak would get into our team. However I expect a tough game.

Anytime someone starts a sentence with "no offence", it's highly likely that whatever they're saying is going to be offensive.

I think right now, regardless of form, that Ince, Bolasie, Ledley and Jedinak would make it into our current squad. Are they really miles apart from Valencia, Young, Cleverley and Fletcher? I don't think so.

Like someone's already stated, a fresh start with a new manager has seemed to have worked wonders for Palace and Stoke so they were both good decisions. It's just a shame it hasn't worked out the same way so far for United!

That's probably true but would it be offensive to say Palace are rubbish compared to Bayern? I'm just stating things how they are.

But on current form a couple of their players might make it into our squad, but with everyone at their best probably not

To be fair it is basically the same team which won the league last season so I'm not offended by that. If you consider where both teams were this time last year it's a fair statement. If anything it shows that you have a really good team who are underperforming. Mata alone is probably worth more than our whole squad!

Man Utd have given points to Stoke, WBA, Cardiff, Fulham and probably everyone else around us. It'll be typical Palace that when it's our turn they give us a proper thumping. Therefore I would be happy with a point

The Palace story is what I love about Premier League football. Dead and buried a couple of weeks back but now with an excellent chance of staying up. Was lucky enough to see a game on Canal + and you are playing some good stuff too. Love blood and guts teams, attacking and defending with such passion.
