No one wants to pay money to watch a bin man play football.
Are you guys just saying this to wind me up or do you seriously have a callous indifference to the plight of the 'not so privillaged' members of society? Serious question here because the way the likes of Eaarl Brutus go on about bin men and such (calling them lazy cants) is a bit disturbing and upseting if i'm being honest.
No you're just a moaning cant and no one wants to read that crap man.
Bin men get very respectably paid considering there is no required skill for their job whatsoever.
Now I agree things are getting out of hand player wage wise but people at the very top of certain professions will always command silly money...
While the demand (fans paying higher and higher ticket prices, oil money etc) is there, wages will continue to increase.
Germany have done well to take some of the power and lunacy away from football. There are wage caps and the supporters trust own 51% (min) of most clubs... and it appears to be working out there. Apparently Bayern paid money towards the Arsenal away tickets on Wednesday as they believed Arsenal were over charging (which they were).
To compare bin men to footballers however is pretty pointless. You're talking about some of the most gifted and driven individuals in the world vs guys who may be happy in their job (hopefully) but it's not something many people grow up as a kid wanting to do.
You want everyone to earn the same but it's in human nature to compete and this will always create a hierarchy in one way or another.
There is no wage cap in Germany
Stretty. Isn't there a total cap or something? Could have made that up though!
bin men h=get paid much more than lots of other non skilled/semi skilled workers.
Of course I acknowledge your point that the gap between rich and poor needs adjusting but to cite Wayne Rooney against 'bin men' as an argument make me think there is some wummery here.

I get paid in one year what Rooney gets paid in a week. Does that make me bad?

OP
I would also spit in your face.

Harsh.

Spitting is unsavoury, but a knee in the nuts would be appropriate. Anyway by the time Rooneys contract is finished , half the players n the PL will be earning that much
Brilliant article. I am being finished up by work after 17 years. He will earn more in a couple of hours than I will get paid out....wrong

Not wrong. Your life can't be good if someone else's finance dictate how happy or unhappy you are.
There's plenty of work out there, get a new job, and stop worrying what other people earning.
Interesting that Rooney would probably be in a low paid job if it weren't for football, don't hate on him because he made the best of what he was given, hate on yourself for not doing the same.

Nah, there's a limit on what clubs can spend it's based on what clubs earn but nothing about wages.
Stretty
Ah right, well that in a (rather abstract) way is a wage cap
Well it isn't, because bayern pay huge money, but whatever floats your boat skipper,
