What a wimp Mayweather is. He knows his time is up hence choosing slow boxers to perfect his record. Scared of a challenge.

Both fights are chit, then again Floyd would be the only WW on the planet to get stick for fighting a world champion in Maidana who's coming off a big win. This will be a 120-108 shutout.

King Khan is on the rampage now. Floyd has lost a lot of the little credibility he had left over this debacle.

British fighter Amir Khan has fired off some shots at Floyd Mayweather Jr., claiming the unbeaten pound-for-pound king is a cherry picker who picks easier opponents to look impressive. Mayweather is scheduled to return on May 3rd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Khan, along with Marcos Maidana, are the two frontrunners to fight him. Khan was the frontrunner for several months to get the fight, but now Maidana, who Khan defeated several years ago, is being pushed more and more as the likely candidate. “People say I have no chance and I don’t deserve to be in the ring with Floyd,” Khan told The National. “Why not? Floyd is not the same fighter as he was three or four years ago. That’s why he picks slow fighters, because he doesn’t have the same movement as he used to.“If you look at his last three or four fights … all of them are slow, with no footwork, one-dimensional fighters. He cherry picks them, to make himself look good. I’m fast. I’m quick. I have an awkward footwork. Styles make fights, and I will show him style.

The contract to fight @FloydMayweather was signed over 2 months ago #Fact

Like I said before putting aside my love for Mayweather's skills I actually believe they have taken Khan for a ride. It's sad really.

That's quite a damming statement from Khan. Good on him. Porter would have been the ideal fight but isn't he in talks with Thurman?

As for Peterson. Does he really want to go back down to 140?

Khan has not avoided Garcia. The Garcia camp are not interested in the rematch. As for Devon, Khan was ready to fight but when being told he will fight FMJ in May he rightly turned down the fight. Khans lost was Porters gain.

Serves Khan frickin right. Get destroyed by Danny, then beat the irrelevant Molina, and edge past Diaz and all of a sudden expects a fight against the best out there.

He was willing to fight Alexander but was ill advised that a Mayweather fight was definitely going to happen. Now it looks very likely that Maidana has got the fight and good luck to him, deserves it much more than Amir and in a rematch would KO Khan within the first 5.

Khan isn't owed a rematch by Garcia. He was hella destroyed and if they do fight again, the result will be the same - Garcia's left would detonate his jaw. He has plenty of options with Golden Boy's pool of fighters, Porter, Guerrero, Thurman etc... but one thing I hope he doesn't do is end up giving that clown from Sheffield an undeserved payday.

Too much hate on khan. Seriously it's not healthy.

quote from khan

"No response from Mayweather or his team," he said. "Fight's not happening. I should have taken the title fight last December against [Devon] Alexander.

"Very disrespected by his team. Wasted my time.

"Good luck to Maidana, against Mayweather.

"Can I apologise to the thousands of people who are let down. You and me and everyone wanted the Mayweather fight. He's running scared."

-------

so to some up he blew off alexander when the fight was pretty much set then got turned away by mayweather, hmmmmmmmmm i dnt think many people feel sorry for khan because many think he hasent done anything to warrent the fight, i said from the start khan and maidana should have rematched as maidana had a much better case for that than khan whinging about rematching garcia in a fight he got destroyed in. He basically said to maidana and everyone else who was a possible opponent that he had bigger fish to fry, funny how things work out

Your forgetting that as Khan manager claims that it was the Floyd camp that said to him not to fight Devon. He was given false hope and who wouldn't turn down a big pay?

Lol Khan's fault
He's got a dumb team behind team. Unprofessional and got no clue how to manage Khan's boxing career.

Just read all this on NSB. Do feel a bit sorry for him but then again I dont.

Khan is the bigger draw.

His numbers are superior to Maidana as is his fan base.

Floyd wanted the Khan fight, Floyd told Khan to avoid the Alexander fight, Floyd gave Khan a contract to sign.

You can blame Khan for being stupid and for believing the biggest liar in the sport, but this whole mess is Mayweather's fault and the mug fans that support him.

Based on what?

I'm basing my view on their previous viewing figures.

A fat, old, shot Morales with one eye fighting 4 divisions
above his peak weight class can out box Maidana, what will Floyd
do to him?
Alexander schooled Maidana and Khan boxed his head of for 9
rounds.

Fine cherry picking from Floyd again
