Ayup lads & lasses,
Really enjoyed reading through yesterday’s comments - just the rest of the week’s threads to get through now !
Just back from the homelands and still buzzin’ from yesterday
As you know, I don’t get out that much these days, but we really loved our latest visit to the iPro. At half time though, I was convinced that the ‘Curse of the Son of Ang’ was still in full swing. B’mouth could have been 3 up and Rantie’s pace was giving us real problems. I was still certain that we had too much for them though
Then came those 2 attacking subs and Russell moving over to the right completely changed things. Sammon’s energy was amazing and the momentum of the game totally turned around. Dawkins’ control on the ball was superb and Russell (Our Lad’s fave) was really getting into it. Credit to B’mouth’s defence, but just thought that if they could get a shot off a bit earlier, it might trouble Winker Camp. Hendrick & Hughes were having more influence – surely the goal would come ?
Told Son of ‘, just before the goal, not to get his hopes up, as we never score from free kicks. Fantastic release of emotion when it flew in – brilliant goal !!
The last 10 minutes were fantastic, everyone singing around us. In fact the atmosphere all game was great where we were, a real step up from our last game v. B’ham, which was a bit flat tbh. The players really showed their feelings at the end and it was superb when they came over to the SE corner, esp. Jake Curse over – just hope I get my voice back for work tomorrow.
Only regret was, that due to son’s bad timing in attending to an urgent call of nature , we didn’t get to the ground until 2.30pm, so didn’t manage to pop into the Travelodge and introduce ourselves. So apologies if anyone was there.
Don’t think we’ll be lucky enough to get to the Forest game, so apart from Ipswich away, our next one may be Huddersfield. After 18 years of my trying, son has finally been bitten by the bug (can’t stop him singing ‘Since I was young’..) – think I may have a proper Rams Fan on my hands !!
Come on you Rams

So relieved for ya that the lads came up with goods and with a goal to deservedly win any game, not sure that you would have to encouraged to attend future games if had to have stayed 0-0
