Very average and forgettable??? That was one of the best shows I've seen!
Even taking away the stoppage it was a great card
woodhouse fight was good ...disapointed with leigh wood tho and campbell was a bore fest...last fight was epic tho not particularly for the skill but for entertainment .....
Forgettable? It had 8 knockdowns or something point deductions both men badly hurt! If this was bigger names would be the new gatti ward
i said the final fight made it memorable...pleae read the OP first !!
Sorry my mistake read it wrong blaming it on the last fight was actually out my seat
lol i tried to score it and then for about 3 rounds totally forgot !!woke the missus up about 5 times lol....mitchell kills coyle i reckon tho
hope sky player put it on their app i already wanna watch it back over !
Yeah defiantly want to watch it again it's to hard to score it live! can't see Mitchell losing to him but after that I'm not sure they will let Mitchell fight him anyway,
The woodhouse Hamilton fight was good aswell (nowhere near as good as that though) glad wood house won but I had Hamilton nicking it
i think the woodhouse fight could have went either way depending on what u like from a fighter....kinda glad they gave it to woodhouse tho..he wnated it more i think ....means he can retire a v proud man now.
Anyone think the Woodhouse V Hamilton fight was dodgy as Fek.
Woodhouse was getting K.Od was crappy lightweights and then goes up in weight for an undeserved British title fight. Hamilton labours throughout the fight and then Woodhouse wins a SD.
After the fight he tells everyone more or less that he put 5k on a 50/1 odd that he will become British champion. Im not a betting man but 5k at 50/1 seems alot. Its the type of money both he and Hamilton would never make in the ring.
Woodhouse retires and Hamilton seemed more than content at losing probably knowing he had a cut off that 50/1 5k cake.
very dodgy
Maybe but would be £250,000 going to woodhouse, Hamilton and atleast 2 judges! Doesn't leave you with a lot! If you are going to cheat why not bet more it will be looked into anyway so be aswell put on 20k and come out with 1m
Diamond this bet was made when he started his boxing career. End of the day for argument sake 100k for a mid 30s journey man is a good way to end your boxing career.
All he needed was a willing participant but he could not find anyone at lightweight so moved up and got an instant British title fight. Both fighter's managers in Spencer and Caldwell are good friends.
Get Eddie Hearn in the mix and then the plot thickens. We all know that British boxing is one of the most corrupt in the world.

Ok never realised he made it at the start of his career! There managers being best friends and a shot he didn't deserve is making it suspicious now you mention it

Cheers D4, didn't get too watch it last night.
That was a ridiculous stoppage and something really needs to be done about our refs. It won't be long before people refuse to come and box on our shores as they know they'll get robbed.
Good point Kash, but i've known Spencer for more than a few years and he isn't the sort of guy to get involved in anything of that sort. Plus if they were going to do something like that then they wouldn't have made the fight so close.
Coyle is shiite. The referee was horrendous and called the fight off to satisfy the crowd who were calling him a w@n...ker. Stick Luke Campbell in there with Coyle and he'll knock him out.
Maybe woodhouse won cause he trained with booth for this fight
Just saw the fight, I dnt get it, Doyle was in a lot more trouble when he was down earlier in the fight, the other guy nodded and said he's ok,what's the point of a ref asking him if he is if he's just going to ignore him,
Dnt think the ref was biased though, not many uk refs would be docking 2 points for a British fighter over here, just a same the chap couldn't make it to the end
The lad who Luke Campbell fought, Moises, was completely crackers. Just grinned like a loon for 8 rounds
I sparred Colye when he was 15 years old and he was a lot better than me (no sh !t haha).
Great fight, incredible resilience from both fighters and a very dodgy home town stoppage.
Mitchell will beat Tommy with minimal effort.
