Everton will still have finished above you 3 out of the last 4 seasons so it will take a couple of seasons before you can be top dogs on mersiside again

Do you have no shame?
Struggling to impose yourselves on the paupers of Merseyside - it's embarrassing.
LFC strikeforce = £35 million

EFC strikeforce = £0

That's why we're top scorers in the league.

Damn!
Someone told me it was because you had the best fans in the world.
EFC strikeforce = £0

???
Loan fee for Lukaku and Traore
Kone's fee?
Give Martinez half of your recent budget and then get back to us.
Until then - dream on that you are achieving something of substance.
Ohhhhh...sticky, thats bolox and u know it.
Give Martinez half of your recent budget and then get back to us.

He'd still have a hard time convincing players to go to Everton even if he has the full budget.
But keep convincing yourself that Kone, McCarthy and Mcgeady were free transfers, and that it will cost nothing to replace/buy Lukaku, Deulafeo, Barry, Traore
Where would you be today if you had to make do with Everton's annual budget?
Yes that's right.
Page 2 of the PL table.
So enjoy your revival but - if you want to talk about achievement in a league full of money throwers - there's only Arsenal, Everton and Swansea.

To be fair if given a budget I would trust Martinez much more than Moyes.

We've got no money, you spend loads of money!!!!!
The reason we can spend more money than you is because we make more money than you. If you weren't such a small club you could cash in on the commercial side.
The BS think there is a 'spending no money' cup!
Being average and having a tiny budget doesn't make you good, it simply makes you average paupers.
Small club, parochial fans, no hope.
Don't be harsh, you know our Blue neighbours are short of cash
Those dam Londoners & Tourists have stopped buying so many theatre tickets
"LFC strikeforce = £35 million
v

that's why you lose 0-1 and we win 4-3
FWIW I think you're doing brilliantly considering the money aspect
Fact is Everton are a small club and always will be so yeah there is the aspect of the transfer funds. There's no point complaining about it, you just have to accept it.
You can't have it both ways. One minute your on about being proud of having nothing but local support, the next your on about having no coin. QED.

He also spent £5m on Ivan Ramis who has gone on to make a whopping 17 appearances in 18 months.
G-B.
I must really wind you if if you have to create an article mentioning me in the title with just under a third of the season to go.
Yes, just under a third of the season to go
If this is transition then every season will be transition because of our lack of investment meaning we have to depend on loan players. It is debatable whether we would do better with funds not an issue. The Liverpool lad saying they can spend more than us because they attract more revenue is partly right but to attract more revenue you first have to invest, Liverpool sold out to the American franchise (this time it worked). For some reason we cannot, now whether that is because Bill really wants to sell or is asking to much, I don't know. Personally I think Kenwright is doing a very good job and without him imagine were we would be now. As for Martinez, he needs to get a bit of realism into his interviews, losing 1-0 is a reflection of not being to put the ball into the net Martinez 'I am very excited to see us playing like this'.
