I blame Fergie for hiring Moyes. If you think the bunch of players you have are past it, you had a whole summer todo something about it.

Team confidence, tactics, instructions all comes from the manager. If the players aren't responding to how the manager is setting them up, they end up looking "past it". All that needs to be changed is the manager though.
