Typical klasnic looks lazy and out of games at times. When gets on ball looks class and also bagged. Plus did not last 90 mins.
Hi finlay. Alongside Petrov, Klasnic showed great improvement in pre-season and I believe that improvement carried over to the QPR game. He looks fitter and dropped deeper more than usual. Very encouraging, although once again he didn't complete the full 90 minutes.
finlay, imo he did far more than k. davies who never looked like scoring
Looked lazy? He looked pretty sharp, and he linked up well with the midfield. Probably did as much running as Davies. He got subbed, but that's not to say that he couldn't play 90 minutes if he had to.
He looked a lot fitter than he ever has, think he was substituted in the 87th minute because the game was already won, I'm sure if needed he could have stayed on the pitch for another couple of minutes. I was very impressed with him.
I agree with these guys, he looks a changed man. I have been critical of him in the past but I think he did well on saturday and has been on fire in pre-season. I also think he was the threat and offered alot more than Davies. Lets hope it continues.
Shouldn't it be 'Klasnic v QPR'?
Anyway, I have only seen the highlights but I think he looked sharp and he isn't afraid of shooting.
Like I have said on other articles, I would prefer him and Tuncay up front
A goal, an assist, lots of running, he played well, looks fit for the first time since Owen Coyle first came in (if people remember, back then he was in the starting 11 ahead of Elmander until he picked up an injury). Did more running than Davies or at least just as much. He's a classy player, I think him and Tuncay up front would be an amazing combination.
Thanks lads. Sounds like he made a good start to the season.
Unfortunately, I'm rarely able to get to games and of the 3 I made last season he either didn't seem fully fit or looked a bit disinterested. He clearly has an eye for goal though so I'm certainly not criticizing, just hoping to see a greater contribution this season.
Here's to Reo-Coker keeping City quiet on Sunday and Klasnic squeezing out another 3 points!
Klasnic has scored as many goals as he has had starts for Bolton.
