Apparently agreeing to buy CL and FA cup tickets for home matches is part of the T&C's of buying a season ticket.
The price of success I suppose
Vee have vays of making you votch Man U.
To be honest, the way the respective clubs have done this season, missing the derby might not be the worst thing that could happen to this fella.
This just plays into the hands of the black market as a fair few thousand will not be able to go for a variety of reasons so the tickets end up with touts.
Self defeating if you ask me.
You would have thought they would be better off letting other fans go if the ST holders don't want to. Being a club with a lot of plastic supporters at least it gives others than chance of going then. Or maybe the issue is that for some games like that, they don't sell out.
Well, everyone else is defeating them so may as well join in!
I wonder how much of their support has switched to other clubs
What a rip off!
"Season Ticket holders are automatically allocated and required to buy tickets for home games in European, FA and League Cup competitions"
This averages 8 a season apparantly at a cost of around £40/50 for a Champions league game. Which means that, in effect, you £950 season ticket really costs you £1350.
Not so much next season, of course.
Quick calculation for you - scary this!
75000 people x 8 games x £50 = £30m less income.
scarier this: that pays for Rooney for the remainder of this season.
Good job for some fans that they crashed out of most cups fairly early then. Looks likely they may on the CL soon as well
And even more apt and value for money.... ...they don't get the additional extra of Fergie time anymore
Is anyone going to tell 666 he got the maths wrong?
No ... okay, I'll take one for the team.
Rooney is on £300k a week, 10 weeks x £300k = £3m not £30m.
£30m = 2 years Rooney money.
Still utter madness but ...
Is anyone going to tell 666 he got the maths wrong?

He added on the money Man U have to pay all the GILFs at the training ground. Rooney would have left without that. He is also right that a win is only worth 3 points no matter who you are playing.
