If fergies retirement package was made up of man united share options he would be filling out that P45 himself.

The media would have hung him already if he managed Chelsea
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You mean roman would have sacked him already
If he doesn't get through March in peace and we see defeats to City and Liverpool in that process he will defo be gone, I think someone like Giggs would end up replacing him till the season finishes and a proper manager can be hired afterwards.

I guess the glazers read my article then.

Well that's highly probable, if we lose the west brom game alone that might force their hand, i reckon the glazers expected a dip when fergie left but i don't think they envisaged this.

Imagine placing Giggs in charge and him picking himself in CM for the rest of the season. And doing a worse job than Moyes.
Nah,giggs would be crazy, phil neville would fill in.
so many clubs have these massive chequebooks these days there aren't enough players to buy.
...........
You just have to know where to look Kaisers. You lot got Luis.
The Glazers envisaged a trophyless season but they expected a top 4 finish, the club accounts wanted a top 3 finish so revenue figures can boom to the £500m figure.
None of that will be happening now, so if share prices continue to drop and then fans start properly turning on him then the Glazers will be forced to act.
Moyes will be with us until the end of the season.
There is no point firing him now, or between now and seasons end.
If he can prove that he can get a grip of the players ansd start improving performances, then the Glazers may keep him on.
If things continue how they are now, then he isn't going to be trusted with a massive transfer budget.
I hope Sir Alex isn't in their air telling them to keep him on because he turned out well after being backed by the Edwards family.
Now,
If I were Moyes this is what I would do right of now.
1. Get rid of Round and reinstate Phelan. Hand Phelan all responsibility with the players training.
2. Bring in a coach with European tactical experience to help him out.
3. Stop picking Valencia. Stop picking Cleverely. Stop playing Smalling at RB.
That would be a start.

These three are just so glaringly obvious that I don't see how he keeps making the same mistake. I'd rather see Buttner on the right wing than Valencia at this point, and Smalling at RB just looks so wrong
and Smalling at RB just looks so wrong
..........
If Raf is injured bring in a RB from U21's.

absolutely, we've got a cracking young player in Saidy Janko
Is Marnick Vermijl still at the club?
To be honest, I'm not sure we have a great deal in any position that is going to make a fist of it in the 1st team. Keane twins have a chance but not now. I like the look of Wilson but he very very young.
id also give Davide Petrucci a go in midfield, he cant be any frigging worse than what we have now
and Smalling at RB just looks so wrong

Smalling and Valencia combination is just horrible on the right. I would have more respect for Moyes if he acknowledged this and tried something different for rest of season - blooding youngsters is what United are all about isn't it?
2. Bring in a coach with European tactical experience to help him out.

Not sure that would help much seeing as Moyes's worst results have been in domestic competitions. Olympiacos aside Utd have done ok in Europe this season.
I do however agree with your other points. Sacking Phelan was a huge blunder and keeping him would have made Moyes's job so much easier.
Smalling and Cleverley are not Utd quality either.
I like the look of Wilson but he very very young.

Rooney was scoring a hatrick against Fenerbache at that age.
I also agree with Mex on Petrucci .

Superb.
It isn't for European games.
It is for Moyes to learn different tactics and ideas.
