Wenger must not sign!

It's nonsensical to ignore Guardiola's success as a manager. He turned Barca into the force they still are now. What about Mourinho? Apart from Chelsea, his phenomenal success has been down to his determination to succeed rather than buying trophies. How do you account for his brilliant success at Porto? At Inter he won the treble with players rejected by Wenger.

I'm not ignoring Pep's success, just saying the resources were there and he would be able to replicate it at Arsenal.

Fair point about the stadium hindering our power of spending in the past few years but even this summer we needed two strikers and for him not to even buy one is blatant negligence on his part, backing up my point that he doesn't even do what is needed let alone go one step further and speculate to accumulate.

He had less cash at Barca than Wenger has at Arsenal right now.

I love how you guys are debating about Pep..can you honestly tell me why he'd leave the european and world champions after 1 season and come to Arsenal

Wenger's had this cash for under a year. Pep also was able to spend £25m on that Ukraine cb who was sold back for half that, £40m on Ibra + Eto'o, £35m on Cesc and £25m on Sanchez.

Hardly what Wenger's been on for the last 10 years.

Barca has always had easy sources of credit when it comes to major purchases. A quick lunch with the bank manager and Bob's your uncle. Real Madrid too.

Guardiola's teams says all but his greatness, give him the right players and he will be untouchable, he inherited good players but made them perennial success, he plays an exciting style that as we saw, strangle teams to death, he improves players and has faith in youth ask Pedro. Wenger has no more cards to play he deliver this season or he must not sign or else Emirates is gonna get Toxic and unhealthy for his own sake, sad to see it end this way, he should have walked into sunset with cigar years ago if he stepped down at right time. He is turning into that delicate china no one knows what to do about it, fragile and stubborn.

Wenger has gonna of the boil just like French football, he was lucky coming to us at the right time coinciding with French success and our misery was compounded once that production line dried out, he has never seem to turn it around ever since. He can't fool anyone again and am afraid divorce seems a better option atm and for those who fear Arsenal world minus Wenger, don't be afraid we will at least stop the lunatic stubbornness like selling our players to feed other rivals just because of tired stadium excuses. We have £120m waiting to be spent but for some reason this manager admires the bank balance instead of admiring success on the pitch, pffffff, it getting boring every season getting to top four but getting knockout at first stage, what's the point of top four if can't buy decent players.

Wenger's minimalist approach is meant to demonstrate his obsession with his own personal success rather than the success of the club. In 2007 Wenger said he did not intend to buy players even if the club was prepared to back him financially. In 2008 when Arsenal were top of the league he publicly said that he would have rejected a £100m bounty available for him because he didn't want it. Wenger has repeatedly refused to spend because he still thinks he can win with fringe or raw players got on the cheap from some poor leagues, thus proving his personal genius. He was previously offered Drogba for £200,000 but he refused. He offered a stupid £5m for Ronaldo who had been to Highbury 3 times and who he had watched 9 times, only for Man U to offer £12m. He also demanded that Ibra plays a demo match and that killed the deal because everybody knew Ibra was a brilliant striker, and he signed a more expensive Jeffers instead. He had the chance to sign a very interested Van der Vaart for £7m from Madrid and Berba for £3m but he didn't want. He could have signed Yaya and sent him out on loan until he qualified for a UK permit, but he dumped him instead. In short, Wenger is now the biggest problem at Arsenal.

Amen to that, you might add Anelka second time, Ribbery, Hazard, Mata, Higuain, Suarez, Draxler but instead he got flops like Arshavin, Gervinho, Chamakh, Park, Bendtner, Squillaci just to penny pinch for bank balance, the man has no taste for winning only thing he cares about is to impress the board.

you guys are better at seeing the bigger picture than Wenger and your personal saturday is more important than the great future of the club.

Wenger is too pathetic of a manager. Arsenal should really sack him. Until they do I will support an ambitious club
