It is very obvious that the top half of the left photo has been overlaid with the bottom half of the right photo, you only need to look at the bags.
Is there a point to this?!

Why would they do this?

That's baffling me too?
Considering the events that took place this will fuel the speculation rather giving clarity to family members.

They're trying to trigger people's memories, and as anyone who had seen them would of seen them in their entirety, that's what they're trying to recreate. A very poor effort though....

And the large white line going across the photo
The one on the right looks like a thin Guillem Ballague.

Yeh, bit of a give-away!
I reckon someone's just been lazy with the photo-copier.
Looks more like a bit of paper over the top than photoshop
I haven't heard any news on this since last night but did they find the plane yet?
I doubt those 2 people have anything to do with it. Passports being robbed is a common thing in that side of the planet.
That pic is defo a photoshop btw
No news yet. They're now searching the Malacca Straits, meaning they think the plane must of flown over land to get there. The Malacca Straits is one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world, how the hell no one has seen anything is beyond me.....
This is getting all Twilight Zone

black spots don't exist, similar to G spots
I read something this morning on Sky News that suggested there are radar 'black spots' and it's possible the plane/wreckage ended up in one of those.
---
Surely the black spots are notable for their absence from radar? Should be quite easy to find the black spots

Apparently some passengers mobile phones are still ringing through. Bizarre......
I love how the conspiracy nuts go to town with these events! This was in one news report:-
"The frightening part about all this is not that we will find the debris of Flight 370; but rather that we won't. If we never find the debris, it means some entirely new, mysterious and powerful force is at work on our planet which can pluck airplanes out of the sky without leaving behind even a shred of evidence," Mike Adams wrote on Natural News.
"If there does exist a weapon with such capabilities, whoever control it already has the ability to dominate all of Earth's nations with a fearsome military weapon of unimaginable power. That thought is a lot more scary than the idea of an aircraft suffering a fatal mechanical failure."
Do you think he's referring to the Chinese, or maybe it's the Mayans
