Surprised Marquez has openly come out and said it was fixed, being a Mexican and all that, you'd think he'd have more respect for Canelo and Angulo, but play to him for speaking his mind
Just cos they are fellow Mexicans means jack. Look at Erik Morales who tweeted "Mexican pharmacy was better" when Marquez beat Pacman.
I know Kash but although they never fought eachother, you'd think that Morales and Marquez have some sort of rivalry, having fought around the same weight classes for most of their careers, people always ask the question 'who was better' out of the two. But Marquez and Canelo shouldn't have anything against eachother...
Anyway, I guess it's a good thing that he's speaking the truth rather than showing bias...
I don't want to believe the fight was fixed, getting robbed by the judges/ref is one thing, but when a fighter is actually in on it, it's the most shameful thing in boxing.
Boxing is corrupt, without a doubt. Wouldn't surprise me at all. Boxing fans are always the losers.
