----------------------------------------------------------------------And don't you fecking forget it
Yeez will get the govan east like normal and like it.
BN, you're lucky you were drawn at home or we'd have put you lot in the Govan East
And we'd have taken the home dressing room
But we werenae
Wed just have changed the signs on the doors.
I wouldn't be surprised
To be fair, it's been that long since we've been there we'd have struggled to remember what the away dressing room looks like.
Surely United will not take 20k to a semi final!!
There was about 9k at the Raith game a few years back which I thought was very decent.
The team are great to watch just now though and were getting over 7k to most home games. Add in the fact we've pumped Rangers oot the Scots the last few seasons running and we've notched up a monsterous 67 goals already though. I think anything over 6-7k is a really good turnout that equals every home game turnout.
even with you guys being in the top division and us being leagues below, you just know that you can double the attendance when playing us.
we are the only show in town so mark my words, you will have thousands oot the woodwork for this game (should it happen).
westcoast, I genuinely believe we'll take at least 15k. Buses are already starting to sell out.
out of the woodwork. Out of obscurity or a place of seclusion
All to watch The Rangers
Duke, nobody is denying it's a big game and that Rangers are a draw.
But you're not the biggest draw we have. Dundee and Aberdeen are bigger box office for us than your lot.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
lets see how many you bring..
did you even sell out v Aberdeen?
You will have more fans in Glasgow than you've had at any game for years....
No matter where we play or how poor we perform we are still the only show in town.
Playing Rangers is the biggest thing to happen to Utd and you will see that by the attendance.
85% full for the last Aberdeen game so 12000
assume 3000 sheepy folk so that 8500 of your people
double that will come to see you play The Rangers
how do you get 8500 from 12000
Duke, how many Gers would buy tickets to see you play United compared to how many attended on Sunday if possible?
Only there to see United.
The most fans we've had at a game recently was the 2010 cup final. We also had a reasonable turnout for the semi last year but if I remember right it wasn't fantastic.
I expect we'll have more fans for this semi than last year. People are more likely to turn out when they think there team is going to win.
we would get more but not more than double our normal attendance
Your playing Rangers
Your fans think that's special and a FAR bigger attraction than any other....hence 15k + will attend.
I think you're getting excited.
Since we brought 27k to the 2010 cup final does that mean Ross County are a bigger draw than Rangers?
no it means it was a cup final
out with finals this may be your biggest ever traveling support
why
Rangers ...obviously....
You know what Duke, you might be right mate.
But then if Rangers are always such a massive draw, how come we only took 1k last time? Particularly when this season we've took more than that to games against Inverness, Hearts, Hibs, Aberdeen, Motherwell, St Mirren.....
The reason I reckon we're taking more to this game than last season's semi is because we are far more confident of winning.
And I guess there might just be an element of people wanting to be there to see us pump Rangers.
your last statement is correct
Its about Rangers
I'd probably prefer going if it was Albion Rovers. Then again, the atmosphere will be pretty intense if we're up against that other team.
Actually, it's about pumping Rangers. There's a slight, but important, difference.
But feel free to ignore the argument shattering bit about how we don't normally turn out at Ibrox to see you, even though you're such a massive draw for everyone and we all apparently want to go and see the Rangers....
