No thanks!
Are you not worried about the mass exodus of the African players during the ACON?

I agree with bloodyblu4cfc.com.
Also we don't need any more players of this type atm.

Seconded as well!
We should be looking at more flair players, we have enough of that type of player already...Mikel, Ramires and of course...the injury prone Essien,

I like Asamoah, good player but we don't need a midfielder like him. Played exactly like Ramires does tonight.

It would be like last season when we had a midfield of:
Ramires, Mikel, Essien

Bloodyblu4cfc - the african cup of nations should not deter us from signing talent , it is only by the most 6 weeks.
Secondly you say flair and mikel ?
well asamoah has plenty of flair and no way similar to mikel just because hes african ,asamoah is a attacking midfielder and ramires is not. PLEASE ramires is no ways simalar to asamoah . Ramires is a box to box player at best and to be honest for all his running and his engine he has a very poor shot and awarness compared to asamoah.

I think He would fit in nicely

alot of you are waiving this player away as you think he is similar to mikel and ramires you need to do more research before coming up with such things

Im not saying he is like Mikel, but he is like Essien and Ramires. May be a bit better at going forward but we need a player with dribbling ability, pace, flair, creativity and they need to be a play maker.
Asamoah may have one or two of these qualities, but not all.

Sorry but over-all Asanoah is just a box-to-box player. He definately isn't an alternative to Modric or Moutinho

hes more of a lampard on crack to be honest...
