must be ecstatic, few more points dropped and few more city wins and maybe he will get his wish.

he must have realised a while back our squad isn't good enough to go all the way, we are at least 1 top class striker short. beggars belief that we spent nearly 40 million in January and didn't rectify that problem

he way i see it

Chelsea-best manager out of all the others, both tactically and in terms of coping with the pressure of these sorts of run ins. having said that, question marks over our squad, especially up front. ironically more problems this season with the minnows than the bigger teams

Liverpool-best strike force in the league, counting against them manager's inexperience and from what i've seen anyway, a dodgy defense especially in the big games

City-tower above everyone else squad wise. not sure how much i rate Pellegrini though got some fiddly looking fixtures coming up though, add to that injury to Aguero, could there be more dropped points for them? having said that, thought Hull could get something on Saturday

Arsenal-don't think much of their squad but they keep getting results. jammy s.

Think mourinho has known all along. If we've been opposition fans favourites to win the title that's up to them. Everyone says mourinho plays mind games but he usually is correct in the end. He said we weren't favourites and low and behold city only have to win one game in hand to go ahead of us.

Hate to be picky, but since January til about 2 weeks ago we've been playing a back 4 in which not one would get into the first team if fully fit. Johnson and Agger have returned to the line up in recent weeks (keeping 2 clean sheets out of 2, both away), Sakho is coming back and Enrique has returned to training. Lucas has also come back from injury and is now working his way back to full fitness. Our defence will be far more secure with these additions

Dont click you mention spending 40mil in Januray but not solving the striker situation.
What did JM say?
He said in the summer you will see why we did not sign someone in January, obviously he could not just sign a 40 mil striker to get us through to this season end, he's looking at someone for next season and onwards.
From the sound of that statement it is going to be a huge signing and obviously the one he really wanted and has identified to solver the scoring problem.
