He had something hit his head, as did all the people on motd missing all the incidents, Liverpool were woeful for most of it, relied on penalty decisions to bail them out
Typical commentator coming out with soundbites to get the headlines. Yes we are poor right now but no one can say how long this mess will take to sort out, could be 10 years, could 1, could be 50.
Moronic statements like this do my head in, and he has a say in the set up of England, good lord.
"Then you have got to think Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool will strengthen - and Tottenham and Arsenal could possibly strengthen as well."
Makes sense to me...
"United made another check on Arsenal’s £37million target in Schalke’s 2-1 win in Augsburg on Friday night.
Midfielder Draxler, 20, gave an eye-catching performance to underline his exciting potential.
He made one of Dutch striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar’s two match-winning goals.
And Draxler also had a goal disallowed in Schalke’s victory.
United boss David Moyes has identified Germany as the place to recruit midfield talent.
In addition to Draxler, United are in pole position to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Ilkay Gundogan.
And Moyes is also an admirer of Gundogan’s team-mate – Marco Reus – and Bayern Munich’s Toni Kroos as he assesses a long list of summer targets."
And if the players above choose to go to the current top 4 we are doubly doomed!
Nothing outrageous in what he said.
The rest of the teams are not gna stand still
You need about 8 first team players to challenge again so he may have a point.
Sensationalism. We might not win the league for a while. We might win it again very soon. Just another gobshite on the BBC public money gravytrain.
What he should do, if he's going to judge United right now, is do the same for all the other PL teams and tell us all how long it will take them to win the league again.
Wednesday night may well prove to be "The One" to quote Ian Brown and John Squire.

Well we're not going to stand still either.
We're signing players just under the wrong guidance.
But 10 years?,more hyperbole nonsense from (yet again) the BBC.
I wish the BBC got some people involved with some actual good insight and ones that dont really on crappy cliches and, like mention, hyperbole nonsense.
Pat Nevin is generally the only one I'll listen too.
Oh and you cant tell me Danny Mills isn't being nothing but biased. He hates us.
Danny Mills is a complete toss pot, but he hasn't said anything outrageous here.
Giving Rooney £300k a week is definitely going to work against United when it comes to buying future players as agents will want parity for their players.
Add to that you will have no Champions league football and possibly Moyes for another season, then you could find United paying to dollar to buy players and paying them wages twice what they are worth. You will be the go to club for mercenaries who aren't quite good enough for top champions league sides
I deslike Danny Mills down to the core.
He's arguably the most negative person involved in any football media outlet at present.
And his constant sighs on 5live can make my ears bleed.
Honestly,horrible person.
There's no way the board would allow Moyes to stay for ten year, and Danny Mills is an idiot. He once said " a team of James Milners would win the Champions League."

So it takes 10 years, so what? IF he really wants to scare united fans, tell him the football will be so rubbish, you would want to gouge your eyes out.
One crappy season and everyone thinks United will be non-existent.
But one decent season for Liverpool and everyone thinks they are world beaters.

Why are you laughing? It's true. People have been telling you that your players are not very good for ages, years in fact, you just had a good manager.
The sooner you wake up and realise that players like Smalling, Jones, Carrick, Fellaini, Cleverley, Welbeck, Valencia, Young, Nani, Evra, Rio, Vidic, Buttner, Henandez and Evans are not top quality the sooner you can stop deluding yourself.
They just ain't all that. You have zero pace in the side and the squad is horribly unbalanced with about 4 No10's.
Just the truth.

Sorry, but Unites current squad is fully capable of getting CL and, like under Ferguson, capable of winning trophies.
A good squad does not become poor over night, unless
a incapable manager is in charge ie Moyes.
Look at your club Liverpool, not exactly full of top top players but Rodgers has done a good job in getting them playing as a good free-flowing unit, something that is capable at United if we had a good manager in charge.

Yes but LFC's players have all played together years. If you look at who starts then only Studge, Mignolet and Coutinho (sometimes Allen) are players that he signed. The squad is young as well.
Those Utd players I have listed are not good enough in my opinion, many the wrong side of 30, and to bring in various nationalities, get them to gel, used to the language, the lifestyle and the league which is tough.
You then have to sign the players needed before other CL clubs want them and you miss out on targets as it is.
You're aslo talking about a new manager with even more new staff.

Thank you for sharing, your concern is appreciated
There's no reason why this should be true.
People are obsessed with 'eras' in English football. Liverpool had their era. United had their era. But maybe we're entering an era in which several sides -- including United -- are fighting for the title every season.
