Found this in Keevins attack on McNamara

Any chance Mr. Keevins you could actually do some research into a story rather than come out with the usual nonsense.

Dundee United complained about the location of the semi final at the time it was made. The SFA said it was because the clubs wanted an early announcement, Stephen Thomson disputed this. This was reported in the press in October.

Ally McCoist yesterday thought it was strange United were complaining now about it, but as stated above United complained in October, this was also confirmed to Jim Spence on the BBC on Saturday by Mr. Thompson and 2 Directors.

Ally McCoist also stated in October

"Ibrox will host both semi-finals the previous month, but McCoist believes it would have been better to wait until the make-up of the last four was known before the venues were chosen.
McCoist said: "For me, it would probably have been more sensible. If we weren't in it or Celtic weren't in it, then decisions could be made in terms of taking a home advantage away. It might have been better to hold on but we are where we are."

So spot of journalistic basics would have had facts in this piece. Would also have the journalist question Mr. McCoist regarding yesterday's reported comments. Any chance of balanced fair reporting and facts?

The announcement of the semis to Ibrox smacks more of appeasement following the complaints from the club that Celtic Park was getting Cup Finals.

That's the facts. CHEERS

In October Ally obviously thought Cletic would be in the last 4 and Rangers wouldn't.

''McCoist believes it would have been better to wait until the make-up of the last four was known before the venues were chosen.''

Why has Ally gone all shy ?

In October he thought there should be no Home bias in the last 4.

What does he think now it's March ?

Dunno about that but he most definitely chucked his toys out the pram over the LC Final being played at CP.

in my lifetime i remember a league cup semi final and Scottish cup semi final being played at ibrox, then parkhead. i don't recall either fans greetin about that, in fact i remember Rangers fans being delighted at getting 22k tickets for parkhead along with celtic fans getting 18k at ibrox for the LC game

1989 was the last time Rangers knocked Dundee utd out the SC, Dundee utd have papped Rangers out the SC in the 5 times we have played them since.

They defeated a much better Rangers team quite easily at Ibrox in SC only 2 years ago.

i would have thought it all honesty they would have relished a chance to do it again considering how $hite we are

SDF.

As I have been saying, Home sometimes brings more jitters.

The more dedicated fans who go Away rarely boo.

Tends to happen more at Home if they don't like what they see.
