spurs may not be cursed but bad things will always happen to us - most of it however is our own doing.

If we go 1 up tomorrow after 10 mins then an optimist.

2 up before half time, then forever an eternal optimist

3 up before 90 then walk on water, turning water into wine raising lazarus full blown believer

you've blown a huge chance to cement a cl place this season, a spot was there for the taking and with the transfer budget you had you should be doing far better this season.

Way too much choping and changing at spurs, a bit of stability is badly needed and the manager needs time and should not get fired after a few poor results, you've gone backwards after spending 100 mill that just shouldn't happen, we did the same under kenny and comoli but at least we won the league cup and got to fa cup final.

fack me we're getting preached to by smug Pool fans on every thread

7 players out 7 players in constitutes a rebuild of the team and squad. New first team players at LB, LW, CM & FWD positions is always going to disrupt a teams flow.

I agree that we should had stayed patient with AVB, we weren't doing that badly at the time he was sacked...but to say we've blown a huge chance to cement 4th is pretty dumb....we werent 4th last season so how can we cement it

LFC are over performing, and Arsenal Chelsea and Man City are as strong as you'd expect them to be having all invested quite heavily.

Spurs have spent £100m but it has not been adding EPL proven quality to an already very strong squad, its been an investment in players to replace and upgrade ones lost. As with most investments, it takes time to get a return...which is why AVBs sacking makes even less sense.

I was always satisfied with my lot as a devout Spurs pessimist, but seeing as I am disapointed about recent performances it seems I was an optimist after all, However, seeing as I cant believe we are as high as 5th, im feeling pessimistic about my new found optimism, which makes me optimistic about my first initial verdict, that I am in fact a pessimist

I'm a realist , I said at the beginning of the season we would not achieve top 4 . Simple reason being is that we need to give the team time to gel , due to injuries and so fourth this has been impossible to do this season.

The curse thing is real. Lasagna, Fulop, Chelsea winning the champions league. It is very odd.
