Tbh, I actually hope they do well. Having all the English teams getting knocked out early is going to be good for the Premiership's reputation or our UEFA coefficient - we've already fallen pretty far behind Spain.

The only positive actually is that they'll keep their excellent manager for a little longer

I really hope they don't win it. If they were to win it they will be right up there next season. If Chelsea failed to win the Champions League in 2012 I highly doubt they would have signed Hazard and Oscar and they most likely would have been on the decline. Man United look likely to be on the decline but if they win the Champions League things will change drastically.

I hope they win it and Arsenal finish fourth.

Lawro doesn't know that man utd winning the champions league will knock the 4th place side out. Seen yesterday in his comments and now today on his prediction for liverpool game.

Liverpool are not certain to finish in top 3. I think it would be amazing if lightening struck 3 times as in the team to finish outside top 4 who were usually in top 4 won the champions league.

I do feel if they were to win it, it would be a greater achievement than Chelsea winning it in 11/12 (and more unlikely in my view), especially given that this is probably the strongest set of 8 quarter final teams that I can remember for a while.

Yes I wanted utd to go through
A) so they face one of the big 3
B) so English teams don't look like they've done crap. Getting two in last 8 isn't great but better than 1 and if Chelsea & utd are kept apart who knows we could see even atleast one English team make semis.
