Have to agree, can't see anything more than a point
So pssed giroud starts, play sanogo for 60 make him give terry and cahill to think about
Ox is not ready for mf just yet.
Think we will lose 2-0
Fecking have a bit of fate you s. The players will want to give Wenger a game to remember for num 1000.

Agreed! I don't mind Giroud starting providing he's in an attack with a bit of balance and pacey attackers making runs off of him - after all, he's pretty good at playing on the half-turn - but in this case, the speed and aggression of Sanogo would be better suited.
My main qualm is if Chamberlain plays in central midfield. Personally, I'd have Chamberlain and Gnabry down the flanks. Chelsea's full-backs are an RB playing LB, and a relatively immobile Ivanovic at RB.
Have faith and patience, we can deal with set pieces but Ox is effective from middle esp. With their slow defenders coming from deep. We also rotate in play so expect interchanging but we must first defend anything in our box.
Terry and Cahil are very dangerous from set plays

I've had faith for a long-time, but I don't think any amount of passion can make up for an inherently imbalance side. Podolski and Rosicky can't suddenly become effective wing-forwards if they have a bit of fire in their bellies.

The trouble is that if Chelsea pin us back, he won't have the opportunity to get forward. I think Chamberlain's opportunities to surge forward - without leaving Arteta isolated against Hazard and co - will be few and far between.

True As are Matic, Luiz, and Ivanovic. I'm very worried about this one.
Just what I need before a game, to hear Castor. Now I am so optimistic. What a wonderful day.

I'd rather be realistic than get my hopes up only to see them dashed.
Not happy with that team. Flamini and Gnabry should be starting. Giroud and Rosicky should not.
Chelsea aren't the near unstoppable machine they were years ago.
We are underdogs but football is often unpredictable
The best we can hope for is a 0-0, can't see us scoring with Giroud in the team.
Agreed Wizard
Not sure about the Flamini-Arteta partnership, but we don't have many other options, and the mobility of Flamini is needed to counter the pace Chelsea have on the break, IMO.
TV as DM Flamini is one possibility and use the full backs more than usual to attack.
I said something about using wingbacks as a joke yesterday but think, but something more towards those lines with the 3rd CB playing in front of the other 2 so more a DM position allowing other players to attack more could work, not the old wingbacks where the full backs were the only wide players. We would still put Ox and Pod in a front 3 for width so the only change would be a DM and a CM rather than 2 CMs if you know what I mean.
We have not beaten city, united & chelsea in the last 11 matches
The negativity on here is absolutely pathetic. If we win the same people will be singing a different tune. Just trust the manager and get behind the team instead of coming up with these ridiculous pseudo-analyses.
goonertic - interesting idea My only concern would be that if the full-backs are encouraged to push forward more, it would leave Mertesacker having to cover the right-hand channel. As much as I love the BFG, I'd worry about him coming up against Hazard in a one-on-one!
Grand Cannon, ridiculous pseudo-analyses? Isn't the whole point of this forum to discuss football? What would it be without such analyses?!
If you take issue with something I or someone else has said, feel free to make a response and highlight why you deem it incorrect - that's the whole concept of debate.
This forum isn't here to blindly support everything the club does.
Have faith, fellas. How dare we have the temerity to criticise - we clearly don't know what we're talking about.
The OP should play the lottery today!!! what a prediction
