We've been in 4 finals on the last 9 years not 2.

Wenger gets exposed against the top sides - he doesn't change or learn from anything against these teams. A high defensive line yesterday, what a ridiculous tactic.

Have we? League Cup vs Chelsea in 07 and Birmingham in 11, have I missed some?

An Arsenal fan forgets about the CL final

And the FA Cup was less than 9 years...

Not counting the FA Cup final since it's not in the "drought"

Apologies, I've officially wiped Paris '06 from memory.

Well you should count it if you're gonna use 9 years.

May 2005 to May 2014 is 9 years, it's March 2014...

There was a time during the last 9 years when we'd lose to crappy teams but beat the big ones, then slowly we started losing to big teams, and never looked back. I thought replacing Pat Rice with Steve Bould will have meant a fresher approach, and it did for this past year, but holy molie, have we gone back to same ol' same ol'.

Wow that's an astonishing stat, just goes to show how stale and predictable Wenger has become.

That stat just sums it up

The most frightening thing is that I don't think that the board is actively considering any alternatives and even if it were I would not have any confidence in it appointing the right man. The board and Silent Stan only seems to be good at making money and nothing else.

Coincides with Vieira leaving. Wenger never really replaced him with a powerhouse in midfield. Denilson first, then Song who was a step up from the young Brazilian and after that Arteta and Flamini who are both good but not the best.

I genuinely think a top player in the Vieira, Yaya Toure mould and a decent striker is still all we are desperate for. I doubt we'll get one that good but the next level down will do. Imagin a a team for next season of...

Szczeseny
Sagna Mert Kos Gibbs
Y. Toure type player Ramsey
Walcott Ozil Podolski
Remy

Subs:
TV
Wilshere
Ox
Flamini
Arteta
Cazorla
J Campbell
