to be fair, barca only won due to ramos getting another red card
Surely another record for Messi? Don't know if any other player has scored el clasico hat-tricks both home and away?

Not sure but he's the leading Classico leader ever and also over took madrids legend Hugo Sanchez as liga 2nd ever highest scorer. Couldn't have broken that record at a better time.
So when Ronaldo broke the record for the most consecutive El Classico goals, did Messi-lovers like yourself happen to miss the games?
Get real, both are the best and it is whoever can help their team win La Liga/CL/Copa Del Ray from here on in that should have the last laugh

To be fair, Madrid still lost more of those games than they won though didn't they?

True but if the argument is purely on who is most effective in El Classico games....then if you look back at the last 10, there really isn't anything between them.
The fact barca were far superior to Real (and every other team for that matter) in the past few seasons just makes Ronaldo's achievements that bit more impressive doesn't it?

Funnily enough there was an article on goal.com today about their performances in el clasico since Ronaldo joined real. As of right now:
Ronaldo: 13 goals and 1 assist
Messi: 15 goals and 9 assists
Messi better than Ron?...definitely.
