I don't think they're deluded. I think they'll win the Championship and even then if they didn't they'd probably come up in the play-off.

Although it'll be a step up for Rangers from the dross they're currently playing, it won't be an insurmountable step up. We all saw how bad Dundee were when they came up as runners-up and that indicates the standard of that league isn't great.

They'll most likely win the league by 20 points.

Not too soon and yes of course they are

Ivan, that is a good point re Dundee, they have sat at the top for most of the year and I feel Rangers are better than them at the minute.

A wee bit more pressure next year for them but that league should be easily winnable

I think it'll be a bit harder for them and they'll certainly drop more points. Having watched the game yesterday I thought Brechin were more than a match for them until the last 20 minutes where they clearly ran out of puff, and you'd imagine with all (or virtually all) the clubs being full time in the Championship that wouldn't happen.

However, I do think they'd be about a midtable team in the Premiership at the moment and that for me is better than Dundee or Hamilton or Falkirk, who are all fighting it out for the title in that league.

I think they will struggle to win it but"might" get through the play offs. They will not like a play off situation as it is like a 2 leg cup tie.And as on previous cup performances ..Ally is worse than Lennon.

Who do you think will win ahead of them? I think we'd all assume Hearts will be the main rivals but I don't think they're better than Rangers to be honest.

As a supporter it is difficult to get motivated for these games this season so i can understand the players mindset
I predicted this season would be the worst of the 3 as it is much the same as last year

next season will be far better as we are in touching distance of the premiership , and much more attractive opposition ,that will ensure the fans and players will be much more up for the games and im expecting the level of performance to improve with it

Sorry to disappoint you del but your are still in the village whilst Celtic are in the big City. And it's that arrogance that will keep you there. You don't just think you will be the biggest thing since sliced bread you go on and on and on about it.You really should cast your mind back to that wonderful home performance against Albion Rovers.Yeah ..remember that.A few of those types of displays in the championship and you'll be saying "aye next season we will schoosh this championship..second time to try right enough- but we will run away with it."

Is that the Albion Rovers that put out the team joint 2nd in the premiership?

I know they arent up there with the likes of Morton and Arbroath , but these things happen in cup competitions

Doesn't matter who Albion beat-it was Rangers performance at home that is the issue. Can anyone say that Ally will ensure a step up in performance and skill. And can he assure-undenieably that his team will do that enough times to win the championship????

it is heart warming to know that omalley is still taking an interest in our wee team

You would have thought he would have more important things on his mind such as being out of both domestic cups before 1/4 final stage for 1st time in 30 years , having their worst ever champions league campaign, losing 6 goals in europe for 1st time and the ever increasing amount of empty seats at the dome

But naw, yous were pure pash agaimst Albion Rovers!
