To be fair to SBD and as Milf hinted, with no plan B, the Billy Davies circus could be back again within the year, third time lucky.
Think Zola would be excellent for you more importantly Fawaz needs an ally that has the clubs interests at heart and can explain to him the pitfalls of short termism as well as open a few doors.
Do you Reds still have confidence in Fawaz? From a PR point of view comes across as passionate about your club. However, the fact of the matter is his first appointment got slated by the fans, he listened to the fans and brought back Billy, gave him a contract extension of 3 yrs, backed him on Friday to the end of the season, sacked him Monday, with a replacement which appears will not happen, you have a game tomorrow night and 8 after that. Still trust him?

I do think with everything considered it was a quick decision, but I also think Billy didn't do himself any favors in terms of how he dealt with the media and some very questionable team selections as of late. I personally would have waited, but Fawaz isn't one to put up with people not doing things how he likes. That being said I love Fawaz's passion and in typical fashion he does a fabulous job of maintaining Forest's status as never being dull to follow.
Chief exec is the most important position he will fill.
Said it last summer.

Or Fawaz should get John McGovern to call John Robertson to call Martin O'Neill to call Fawaz.
Fawaz may be scarred from listening to the fans and bringing back Billy. This may mean he won't go for Mackay, who is probably the fans' choice and certainly someone I'd be happy with. I'd like us to try and persuade Di Matteo although after his Chelsea experience he would probably see the Forest job as a huge step back.
I would hope we don't get Pearce or Keane as neither has shown to be a good manager at this level, although Keane did have that one good season.
Isn't RDM still being paid by Chelsea in lieu of settlement sum?
Dunno, does that stop his coming to us? Genuine question
Zola and psycho are joint favourites.
cannigia... not strictly it doesn't, if he's prepared to give up his settlement.
it's bound to be Pearce anyway, safe choice and someone the fans are likely to stick with.
I think Pearce's career is in enough of a mess without adding this circus to his CV.
