I know Cannigia. You're right. I'm gonna stop now.
I think shh is spot on. While we were safely in the top six Billy's media ban and growing paranoia were foibles which could be indulged.
Over the last few games the players don't seem happy and Billy has lost the fans' approval. Losing 5-0 at Derby would be the last straw for most Forest managers, let alone one who's been busily sawing away at the branch he's standing on. A combination of different factors made his departure inevitable.
Now what though?
Are we going to move on and appoint someone who can take the next step or are we going to be stupid as always and appoint someone like Zola?
Come on sbd. The blokes a t.w.a.t
He's done this himself
I know what comes next, that is what is frustrating the hell out of me!
Although Zola wouldn't be my first choice, we could do a lot worse. He did get Watford to a playoff final last season which was more than we achieved.
People will say that Watford were poor this season but you do have to keep in mind that most of his players from last season had gone back to their parent clubs, leaving him with almost a whole new squad that had no familiarity.
Malky would be my choice but I see little chance of that happening.
So billy has achieved nothing yet Zola would be a good choice!
Hypocrites!
Talksport - Warnock is out the running
I must admit, I am a big fan of Karl Robinson who manages MK Dons, works well on a tight budget and always has them competing for promotion.
His team plays good stuff too. I wouldn't mind seeing him here. Gives youth chances and would do well with the players we have.
If Warnock's out of the running, let's be honest at 65 he ain't gonna get a better offer, it's win win for him. Then WTF has put him off???????????!

Zola would be rubbish, he should have had Watford promoted automatically with that amount of talent at his disposal, most other managers would have. They still have some very good players at the club who he should have had performing better this season.
Karl Robinson

Warnock "unable to form a constructive working relationship" with Fawaz.
Scary when blokes of that calibre are saying thanks but no thanks.

Mentalist.
He seems to have loads of money - but has he got a footballing - related brain cell in his head
He seems genuinely intent on wanting forest to succeed and has the best intentions of the club at heart, but does seem to make rash/emotional decisions? Probably similar to if one of us was in charge, making some emotional decisions with our heart instead of business decisions with our heads?
Fawaz is coming across like a control freak... Another Vincent Tan!
Apparently black and white is a lucky colour in Kuwait... Just saying

We are calling this 'rash' etc. But would anyone here do any different?
Billy's performance Saturday is inexcusable. He has been under performing. The squad warrants an auto spot yet we're outside the playoff. 4-5 injuries are unlucky, 9-10 and we're reaching over zealous man management territory.
As much as a hard decision it is. It's the right one.
No I think this was the right decision, my use of the word rash was maybe a bit, er, rash... Based on other decisions, statements made that don't develop etc.
