Agreed, he should have gone. Great performance, I was nervous before that but that was as comfortable an away game as we've had to be honest. United really are poor this year.

Saying that, great win despite the mediocre opposition.

He went in with both feet off the ground, same as Rooney did about 10 minutes later. What exactly is the criteria governing United players and red cards these days?
Probably wasn't deliberate but a very nasty, clumsy looking attempt at a tackle.
The Fellaini one for me, definite red.
It's hard to judge that performance, the first ten minutes I think most teams would have struggled with us. United were so poor though, it was a bit of both on the whole.
The good thing for us is with Aguero, we are two gears ahead of that at least at our best.
Don't think Welbeck meant it - seemed to slip before contact.
Unlike Fellani - shocking elbow into Zab's face.
Fellani was awful, the ref was looking straight at it and had an old Trafford moment.
Maybe Fergie had his evil eye on him at that moment.
Maybe Fellani should have gone but let's get it right; it wasn't his elbow it was his forearm!
It's still a red card offence.

Other than him being a coward he had quite a good game
One simply doesn't send of a united player at the theatre of dreams dear boy.
One does however obey all fire drill instructions for the Stretford end and slur Alex ferguson stands.
I watched the game on Sky go through the lap top with a weak wifi signal, missing many moments of the game.
I did hear the chant of "Fergie Fergie give us a wave".
Wasn't sure who the chant was coming from.
This isn't a bad report.
