Can't see us losing both games against City and Chelsea.

I think I can.

realistically I can see us beating chelsea or man city, not saying we're going to do that but we stand as much of a chance of drawing/winning either of those games as we do losing them. It's a funny old game though, anything can and probably will happen.

We won't lose to city and cfc. Have you seen our home record?

Liverpool will get at least 2 points from the Chelsea city games.

In all honesty, I really can't see where Manchester City are realistically going to drop points. I see nothing but 7 out of 7 wins.

Sorry, meant 9.

No way will City win all games.

It is a question of experience and been able to step up and be counted when it comes to it, city and Chelsea are proven at this so I think they will edge out Pool but it will be a huge learning curve for BR that he will come out of stronger next season

I know it's not going to be seen as a view point that will be shared amongst everyone, but when Aguero comes back I can't see which team will stop them from picking up maximum points.

Without Aguero, there's hope for 2-3 games that could be questionable.

Can`t argue with your home record or your whole season to be honest but City and Chelsea will not let you overpower them so lightly. Maybe I was a little harsh for the both losses but if anyone has the momentum and reason to make sure the job gets done, then it's them two.

Liverpool fans are confident

Us and Everton can definitely beat them. Maybe even Arsenal.

Think you're being a bit harsh on Liverpool OP. Don't think they'll win both but I reckon they'll get something from at least one of those games

I think Liverpool's results against both Chelsea and City will be highly dependent on the first game with City.

I don't see them beating Chelsea, but if Chelsea have to win at Anfield to win the league the result may be different - if Chelsea can still win the league with a draw I think Mourinho will take that.

Very tight between the teams at the moment.

Liverpool will draw both I reckon vs Chelsea and City. City will absolutely hammer Arsenal though. Sagna own goal you heard it here first

it's not that we're being over confident, just looking at our form we'll take anyone on atm. not saying we'll win but you'd fancy us to take points off them more than villa or norwich for instance?

posted on 27/3/14

I think we'll slip up somewhere, possibly this weekend or West Ham away, all's it takes now is draws, never mind defeats to derail our challenge.

We'll finish well enough to finish 3rd but I reckon the other two will probably take it to the wire.

Of course, you never know and with our strike-force anythings possible, I just can't see either of the other two losing many, if any games now. We need to take points off both of them probably and whilst we can, the form City are showing especially with their squad and Chelsea with their experience (manager) it's going to be tough.

Regardless, it's been a great season and we'll have a say in where the title goes one way or another, if we take points off one of the other sides.

Merry, a couple of posts up, I did say I may have been somewhat harsh on Liverpool . But I stand behind my point in that City and Chelsea won't be bossed around at Anfield and they do have the players (all over the pitch) to get the result.

I'm not taking anything away from Pool, if they managed to get the full 6 points from both games It would come as some kind of shock, unlike the shock it would be if we managed to do it!

TGM, yeah I agree with that.

Darren,

It's been touched on above but after watching City in that first 15-20 minutes or so against your lot and knowing they still had one of the best strikers in the league to come back, that was quite a statement.

They're building momentum at just the right time and he'll just add to that if he stays fit long enough that is.

If they win on Saturday, as you'd think then, they're well on their way.

The Anfield game could be a pearler though, if we keep in distance. I'm not sure we will though.

posted on 27/3/14

Yeah I agree completely.

It has potential to be a cracking game. Both teams have the capability to really hurt the other.

I do think the game with Chelsea will be the pivotal game in the title race, though.

posted on 27/3/14

Could be. I'd love it to be from our perspective, what a night that would be!

If there's any team or manager though you'd back in that situation, to pick something up at Anfield, it would be him.

We're also basing this on everyone staying fit, all's it takes is an injury to a key player for any side and it could change everything.
