These figures mean nothing without context. Our club is in a far different situation to the others, don't forget that.
Fair enough we've been paying off the stadium debt but now we definitely do have the ability to spend and have failed disgracefully.
Also our wage bill is horrendously high and has been for well over the quoted 5 year period given the quality of our squad. Think we're on par with Bayern FFS (not 100% sure on that though).

Exactly. I don't really get the point? That we should spend more money and end up where Stoke are?
I think the issue is that Stoke have shown some ambition to advance, where Arsenal have not.
