Are you saying he's wrong, or does the truth annoy you?
Which part of what he has said is incorrect?
Of course he's wrong, this is the best title race for years and he seems to think people around the world won't agree with this just because United aren't in it. Ridiculous comments.

Well once you scousers are done looking at the viewing figures, you should pass them onto Scudamore.
He's right but The comments were certainly ill thought out.
He shouldn't of said it tbh.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
The idea that the most competitive race for the title ever will damage the league. Also it's one of the most competitive relegation fights ever too.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Where does he say that?
I wouldn't say a competitive league is bad for the brand at all. Would it help viewing figures if Utd were one of the 4 teams? Yeah of course but I'd say a competitive conclusion without Utd would still do more for the 'brand' than last years walking of the league or the many two horse races we've seem through the years.

No idea what the fuss is all about.
He seems to be forgetting that there are other hugely popular clubs in the league. And if a few South Korean glory hunters are upset about United this season then they can just start supporting Chelsea instead.
If that's the case all 19 teams may as well pack up and just have a ceremony once a year to present it to united so the pl can maintain its coffers.Just have an advertisements and sponsors league instead.

But you have to balance that off against, generally, we're in the business of putting on a competition and competition means people can compete."
.....
Maybe you Liverpool fans should try to understand this quote before crying any further.
Liverpool fans don't like the trurth. That's why they make up their own versions of the truth for every single thing they do (see Suarez)
It's never their fault!
The PL will suffer if United continue to falter. Only a fool would not be able to see that.
PL is doomed without ManU challengeing for the league
Even if Scudamore does turn out to be correct, it's no bother to us.
'There’s lots of fans around the world who wish Manchester United were winning it again,’ he added. ‘But you have to balance that off against putting on a competition.’
-----------------
The implication is that the best scenario for the Premier League Chief Executive is for Manchester United to win the league.
For a man in his position it's a ridiculously unprofessional thing to say.

No, you clearly don't understand.
Maybe you need it explained.
He's saying the viewing figures for United will be down, but the better competition will balance it out.
So in fact, nowhere has he said it's damaging the league. You've all jumped at a headline and got it completely wrong.
He should of said Fk all.
Who cares what a load of fickle asian fans think!
Like everything else today, money is the be all end all for all these organisations and corporations.
Scudamore has just proved it.

Nonsense. It will not suffer at all, it will move on. It's clear that it will be very difficult for any one team to completely dominate, as Liverpool and United have done. Everyone thought Chelsea, and then City would, but they haven't have they?
As has been said previously, overseas fans are not the loyal subjects that native fans are, and are not going to stop watching football because United are on the wane....
Sorry United fans, but the world I'll cope without you....
This is nothing new, they're been trying to help United to the title for years, refereeing performances in their favour shows that. Old Whisky escaping bans etc.
OK, just ignore the quotes and continue the conspiracy, that's much more fun I guess.
