No. Derby need to drop points too. Wigan can catch us on points, but they are one of our next two games.
I'm talking rubbish. Derby can only get 90 so you' re correct.
We'd better otherwise there could be panic on the streets of Leicester, oops wrong thread.
We need 7 points but with the huge goal difference I'll be celebrating with a win at Wigan and another against Sheffield Wednesday.
To be honest though, I'm celebrating now- WE ARE GOING UP!
QPR have Bournmouth away next which is a pretty tough game so if we win the next two and they fail to win then it could be Saturday
Somewhere in the Premiership, possibly at Manchester City, Liverpool or wherever, a banner was held aloft declaring "(He) scores just for fun" (RVP or Suarez maybe). It would be fitting for someone at the KP to do likewise after next week when City are home and dry with the words "We are playing just for fun" etched thereon.
It would be fitting if the Home game against Sheff Wed was the clincher, as I remember Matt Elliott scoring the goal that made sure of staying up in our 1st season back in the Premier League under MON. A night match as well if I remember correctly
Not as fitting as gaining promotion in front of mad Manderic! Did anyone else also see NP shaking hands with Lee Hoos whilst walking down from his seat after the game on Saturday. Looked decidedly frosty! If, buts and maybes, but god where MIGHT we be now if those clowns had not replaced NP with Souza.
Good Shout HighlandFox! I'd forgotten about the Mandaric connection. I also agree with your comments about Sousa. At least we DO know where we WILL be next season.
Seeing as our reserves are now losing a game that according to the BBC website is being played on Tuesday 1st August, the Sheff Wednesday game may now have the opposite feel about it as the game when they beat us to make relegation to league one probable but not mathematically certain. We are going up, just a case of when.
