Of course. If we beat them, we have nothing more to play for in the league and hopefully we can concentrate on getting that trophyless monkey off our beleaguered back with an FA Cup triumph.

We have plenty to play for, I expect us to win our remaining 8 games. That will get us top 3 and the cup. Important to avoid the CL qualifiers after last Summer's disgusting shambles of a Summer.

I expect we'll drop points in at least 2 of the remaining games. Starting with Everton next week. I don't see us realistically finishing above any of the current top 3. Maybe Chelsea may give us the slightest hope but I expect them to be knocked out by PSG and concentrate more on finishing higher in the league.

Everton have very tough fixtures. We just need to avoid losing.

We do Bats. All the teams are playing each other and no one has the consistency of winning the rest of their games. I thought Chelsea would drop points against Palace. We don't have anyone tough left and to an extent I include Everton.

But it requires us to win out. Slim chance but nonetheless we are not completely out of it.

I see us dropping points against Hull.

We will win our remaining 8 games, finish on 82 points and FA Cup winners BUT we will finish in 4th place.

I would consider that progression from last season, ESPECIALLY when you consider we have been playing with Giroud, Bendtner and Sanogo as our strikers and, Ramsey, Theo, and Ox have ALL spent half the season in the injury room with Wilshere and Ozil spending months out too.

Most points we can get is 82. That would require Chelsea to drop 6 points, Liverpool 8 points and City 10 points.

No chance.

We can possibly finish above one of them but not all 3.

I want us to end on at least 80 points as that will be an improvement on last season by 7 points.

Yeah, you are right. Just was very up after the game. Probably a bit carried away by the atmosphere.

None of the teams are too far ahead of us this year. Such a shame we such a poor striker leading the line.
