So lads. Adebayor?? What do we think?? I was dead against it at first, but now I think it might well be a stroke of genius by Harry/Levy. There's no question he's a top player, just a bit of a mercenary (can you say the C word on here??)

I reckon he feels he's got a point to prove and that's always good, especially in a proven player. If he feels Harry and Spurs have shown faith in him when no one else has, he could be the signing of the season. Seriously

He'll certainly give us options we don't have at the moment and Harry's the kind of manager that will get the best out of him IMO

N5 I'm 100% for it! I know there are question marks over his attitude but he's what we need!! Plus it will prevent don having a breakdown!

N5 - Of the names you mention I've only seen charly on here very fleetingly (if it was even him!).

Adebayor seems like a good move to me for him and us on a loan and for the wages split discussed. If it doesn't work out in that one season then he's offski. If it does then we seem to be looking at an option to buy for around £12m but would need him to lower his wages. Gallas will have told Harry all about him and he should have some fire in his belly.

I'm sure that Diarra and Odemwinge are targets too. Sorry to see Kranjcar probably leaving. Don't think Harry gave him a fair crack. Rumour is that they fell out after NK returned to pre season a stone or so overweight last season

N5 - I saw that Niko link with Sunderland but then today they were quite clear they'd shown no interest - despite his agent saying otherwise. I'd be surprised if he leaves as a) he was only saying the other week he was prepared to fight for a place and b) we aren't that well off for midfielders at the minute.
